I live in the Seattle area, but prefer to drive to Canada for Alaska sailing. 2-weeks and multiple port options for a more in depth experience. Some old news here, but may be valid today. The Villas were sold out. Something must have happened to person who booked the room because Butler had their liquor order in our suite.

Our bid for a Villa was accepted on the Beyond just a few days before sailing.

Sadly... I have to report the April 9, 2023 Beyond sailing did not offer Luggage Valet.

Hi Mary Lou, My experience was to just show up at the Retreat and access was allowed. On the Edge and Apex the folks issuing me a locker key referred to a list and did ask about suite type. Cheers 🍷

Yes the Royal Suite and higher have complimentary access to the Retreat. My last 6-cuises I had access complimentary access to the Retreat. Cheers, 🍷

Any insight to this situation. Booked Suite Guarantee. Next day received invite to bid. The next day I bid on 2-different suites and received email acknowledgement. The next day I bid again on a 3rd suite. Two days later I can't see the bids and when I log in to Move up, it says the bidding will open 21-days prior to sailing. This is my first-time bidding and having fun despite whatever happens. Cheers. 🍷

And, I understand Celebrity is enforcing only Suite Guests in the Retreat, so I would not try to bring them there and be embarrassed when asked to leave.

Look at your Big Box confirmation under the Terms and Conditions section. About 12-pargraphs down there is a section "Bid to Upgrade" followed by the comment that they do not participate. Cheers!

Yea, it would ramp up chatter on the boards. But, if you owned the business, rewarding your most profitable customers makes sense. Now that I said that, maybe some of the Elite folks who only book inside cabins and never spend extra money shopping, touring, dinning or gambling would not be a real profitable customer.

I am sure I will be in the minority here, but I have no problem with B2B being rewarded with being able to book Sanctuary on 1st leg of B2B. Since Princess does not offer a suite pool area, the demand for Sanctuary is understandable. I would not be too surprised if Princess someday makes the Sanctuary a Suite only benefit upgrade option.

Please share your experiences. Maybe things have changed? Maybe not....
