  1. In regards to reprovisioning the ship...

I have a friend who was a chocolatier in the Jean Philippe Chocolate shop on the Meraviglia out of Port Canaveral and recently transferred to the Euribia in the Mediterranean. He was constantly telling me that they could not get the right butter or block chocolates [milk, dark, white] needed for him to do his job and create the confections to be sold in the shop. This was about a year ago. Was it still a "Supply Chain" issue? You would think that was all sorted out by now! Especially bananas?

Anyone have any info on Regal Princess.  The entry on the spreadsheet is empty.

    Thanks

Hi! I was on the Regal Princess a few years ago. Gorgeous ship! BUT..No free steam or sauna at that time. Only the paid co-ed spa. I took a tour and I didn't care for it as it was all interior...no windows at all. Though things can change with drydocks...

Think about taking the ferry to Red Hook. Check the ferry maps. Easy peasy! Enjoy!

    Cheers…

I am guessing that if I am sailing in mid-December....taking the ferry might not be a "warm" idea?

  4. Question...which may be burried somewhere in this 32 page thread... When it says to attach a photo copy of your "Card".... I don't have a "Royal Caribbean" card....I just have my set sail pass card from each sailing...is that what they want?

Yes, that's definitely the best way to be guaranteed to see the shows you want. As someone mentioned above, there are kiosks close to all elevators that allow you to do this. We booked them all as soon as we were onboard and changed them if needed.

Very good. When I sailed on the Meraviglia on it's very first New York Sailing the October before Covid you didn't need to make reservations for the main theatre shows and they had Cirque Du Soleil....

As soon as we were onboard, we checked to ensure our Visa was registered (it was) and we activated our cruise cards. We then made all our reservations for our shows, including Rock Circus and House of Houdini. We made the reservations for the theatre shows on the screens located by all the elevators. This was very easy. We made the reservations for the paid shows at Ocean Cay restaurant, also very easy.

Hello! So you need to make reservations for the main theatre shows? I know you need to make reservations for the paid shows.....

@TippytonI wouldn’t be sure it’s legit. It seems strange you can’t call somebody and they want you to go to a link. I personally would investigate a little further.

Looking at the link I think it is a scam....It is a site that you can create free surveys...I certainly didn't click on it though.

  8. So...if you see a guy with an upside down pineapple by himself...is he approachable? Or do you both have to be wearing said updise down pineapple?

If you wear an upside down pineapple will people know and point at you?

  9. Hi!

I believe you have to wait until you are IN Bermuda to access all the app's features like entering your credit card. I also emailed them and they did reply with that.

Good News for Royal Caribbean fans.  Explorer of the seas recently completed a drydock refurbishment. Although they made some upgrades, including twin waterslides there was no change to the sauna, steam room, men's changing room or gym.

Yay!  I am on Liberty of the Sea on May 13th and have been on Adventure of the Seas. Explorer has that amazing main dinning room ceiling medallion that I would love to see.

I'm glad you got a good price. I'm know well the challenges having cruised solo many times. I'm not seeing this published for some reason but my TA is accessing a handful of available rooms. Solo Inside is over $400/night. I really want to go but not at this price.

Oh  my gosh no! $400 a night is Regent Seven Seas Prices! Where in Jersey do you live? I'm in Jersey City....

Hi thanks for your reply. A couple of spaces opened up today. However the single-supp is a bit higher than what I would like to pay for 5-nts. I love this ship/class. My bad for waiting until the last-minute. 😊

Wow...what site did you see this on? I am not seeing anything. I do know that I got a good price for a solo inside...the last time I looked at the same category it was over 3 1/2 times what I paid. I also have a booking in December on the MSC Meraviglia and an even better deal that what I got for May on RCI. The price with Single Supplement comes out to $100 a night. I was on that ship once before and had a good time.
