  1. Okay...so this is for a single passenger with the solo supplement.

Starting with the same experience people are saying above: Priced a cruise on Monday the 6th, but held off thinking about the Black Friday Deals. Tuesday the same cabin jumped in price. Just like what people are saying above...

BUT...Then on Friday the 10th..."with the 75% second passenger sale" it was back to the original price I saw...BUT [in addition] on a particular booking site...it was $100 less and it came with $100 OBC. So I booked!

This morning...the official start of the Black Friday Sale....the price did indeed drop $139....so I re-priced and got to keep the $100 OBC.

It's a crap shoot for sure!!!! But sometimes it works!!!

You will need to call for reprice Black Friday sale starts tomorrow

    Nov/11 to Nov/14 75% off 2nd passenger + $300 savings (Quad Occupancy)

    Nov/16 to Nov/22 75% off 2nd passenger + $600 savings (Quad Occupancy)

    Nov/23 & Nov/24 75% off 2nd passenger + $650 savings (Quad Occupancy)

Hi Gerelmx! THANK YOU! It worked...I got an additional $139 off as a solo traveler.

Interesting...I went first to the Celebrity site and though it was less than yesterday it was still more than what I had priced on another site. So I booked on my "go to"  "cruise dot something" site. Their price was actually $100 less than the Celebrity's site AND I got $100 OBC.

Usually every site averages out to be the same....but this saved me $200.... Yay!

Well.... I will look again tomorrow....I will keep you posted. I really hope you prove me wrong!

    BUT...what I saw is.....copied and pasted....

From November 10 – December 5, travellers who book a cruise on Celebrity can get 75% off a second guest as well as up to $300 in onboard credit for nearly all itineraries through April 30, 2026.

And what do they mean by $300 savings (Quad Occupancy)???

    I am a solo paying a solo supplement...so far...saves me nothin'!

I can't imagine doing a B2B TA--I don't want to be in Southampton only to have to leave again with no time to spend in England. If the schedule has a Europe cruise between crossings, I do the EB, have some time in England, then the WB home.

I would love to spend some time in England....BUT...waiting for the return would be 2 weeks...not just one...and being away for a month is too long...I'm still working!

  5. Hi all!

I am wondering if there are big differences between a transatlantic crossing versus a NY to the Caribbean or Canada? Such as: The passengers, the entertainment, the enrichment program, etc...  Do they still offer fencing lessons? Is tea still served everyday when there are port days? Stuff like that.

I am single, 59 and I do not fly so a NY - NY would be my only option sailing....so would that be east coast or "over and back"!

Flew in. Stayed with family. Suggest the internet ‘Cheap parking near the Red Hook Terminal’. One site says $10 a day. Check it out. Good luck…

The only problem is that that "Red Hook" is in St. Thomas!

Parking is $10.00 for the day. The ferry terminal parking garage is the closest parking to our dock. If you park in the underground parking lot at the Marina, ...

No smoked salmon at the buffet this morning. Just pickled herring: everyone's favorite!

So many different responses.... Thanks Jamie for checking for me!

From a previous response...of course I know that I can buy smoked salmon...but it is expensive. It is a treat I enjoy on cruises and the occasional Bar Mitzva.
