I think someone may have messed up the spreadsheet again. When I went in just now, some of the headers for the steam room section were missing. Thanks again to whoever maintains (and fixes) the database.
And....now I see in the Sauna list there are TWO columns for Free and Not Co-ed....and most say yes in one and no in the other! OMG!

@39august There is no option to pick a cruise or cruise date on the cc site. There are options for a credit discount, on board credit, stateroom upgrade, or purchase merchandise. No additional information provided I'll choose the credit discount and keep my figures crossed. If it ends up being a future credit, then I'll just have to cruise again.
Thanks, all.
Hi! If no one has answered your question yet...you enter the cruise information after you choose the option you want on the next screen.

Hi 🙂 I was on Eclipse for the May 26th sailing. The sauna in the changing room worked great every time I used it, feeling nice and hot but not overly so. The space isn't huge but it is a decent size, and close to a square in shape. It has an upper and lower bench which wrap around to the right as you walk in. We had up to four guys in there comfortably. Any more might be a bit tight. Three showers are just outside the sauna. The lockers are set up with self-setting combination locks that can be challenging to figure out, even with the posted instructions. Have fun!
Thanks so much! I am really looking forward to a nice week...., especially after my last cruise on the Caribbean-bound MSC Meraviglia the 3rd week of December...the one that went to Canada instead because of bad weather in the Caribbean! The ship and crew and sauna were great...but 28* outside instead of 83* just wasn't quite the same!

There are shows nearly every day......well, anytime the ship isn't in port. And yes, you can watch others make their pieces. I find the whole process fascinating, so enjoy watching the "masters" as well as the beginners!
Thanks to all who replied! I think that watching the process is fascinating!

After the first show on day 1...are there more shows? And can you watch other people make thier pieces?

Has anyone been to the Botanical Gardens in Hamilton recently? It is said that they have been let go and it is not worth a visit. I travel in 2 1/2 weeks to Bermuda on the Eclipse.

The projection that appears before each course is an animated version of how these little guys build that precise course. So if you have a pasta dish on the evening's menu, you'll see the little guys build that before it is served to you.
I know for sure that there have been at least three different menus over time (I've seen them), and there may be a fourth. About the only way to be sure which is on for a given night is to visit the restaurant and check the menu. I have seen nothing that would indicate that there's any predictable rotation amongst the menus during any particular cruise.
The quality of the animation, and hence the experience, is also variable. I don't know the actual production order, but are real differences between them, perhaps the earliest attempts and later productions?
One last item -
If you're going to do this, arrive a little early. The tables will be set with white plates. Before selecting a table, be sure that the video projected onto the plates from above (which is just a white circle) is stable. You'll know quickly by looking at the periphery of the plate. Getting a seat with zero jitter in the image provides a nicer experience.
Okay! Now THAT was good information! Thank you!

So....can anyone who dines there numerous times answer the question.... Are there different videos tailored to match the night's menu or is there one video no matter what the menu is?

So we are going on our first Celebrity cruise in December on the Eclipse. I was curious about this restaurant and am happy I found this thread. We don't have any OBC. I see there is a flash sale right now of 20% off for LPC at Celebrity web site. Anyone who is more familiar with Celebrity have any thoughts on whether this is a good deal? Do they run these flash sales often? Do I need to worry about specialty restaurants getting booked up before we ever even get on the ship?
Hmmm...where do you see a 20% off sale on the website? I am looking at the site right now and don't see anything...

Harbor Nights is a must do One and Done.
It's a MUST DO.....AND..... a ONE & DONE?
Tell Us About it! I've been to Bermuda 4 times...but never on a Wednesday.

Question of the day: Does the video presentation incorporate the selections for the day's menu? Or is it the same video for all the menus...BECAUSE....
A THIRD menu has appeared on the cruise planner on day 4 for my cruise on June 30th!

Hi, shows are at 7 and 9. Yes, I went to 2 of them. One was a Rock show and tonight they had a Chello player who also plays piano.......he was fantastic. Played everything from Broadway to Classical. His name is Jacob Yates and he lives in NY City.
They also have music in the foyer on 3. Tonite is a Beatles Tribute. Last night was a 60s tribute.
Thanks!!!! I'm on the June 30th sailing and following you. I don't always look ahead at things as it's fun to be surprised...but a little planning is required nowadays!
-
Hi Lois!
Have you been to any of the shows? What times are they in the evening? Thanks!
-
Hi! Will this be a 7 Night to Bermuda? Might you be able to post the first night's daily? That would be cool!
-
Hello!
Yes...I am sure there is a thread about this already...couldn't find it!
If I make specialty dining reservations or a spa appointment pre-cruise to save a few dollars...can I change the day and time once on board?
The menus on the app keep changing so I do not know what nights I will want to be in the MDR and which I will want to a specialty restaurant. Or what nights the shows will be and what times...
Thanks!

I'm back today to report LESS than 24 hour turnaround for posting award OBC to our cruise planners using ONLY the online portal.
Bingo for me too! Didn't need to call...there it is!!!

Okay! I'm ready to cash in my points for OBC for my sailing in June. So after I redeem them on line with Bank Of America, then I call the Captian's Club to apply them to the cruise I am going on...correct?

It just gives you an idea of what might be on offer . Quite often the menus change while you are on board too
All these people are planning, or say they are planning, their speciatly dining around the app....I'll wait till I get on board!
-
You know....people keep saying to look at the app and you will see the MDR menus for your sailing...then you can decide what nights to do specialty dining, etc...
BUT...the menus have changed like every three days! On my sailing first there was no lobster listed...then it was on night #6, a week later it dissapeared...and now it has re-appeared on night #7. What's up with that?
-
It's been three months since anyone posted on this thread...has any work been done at the Botanical Gardens? I wanted to go in July....

Is it really 2 1/2 hours ????

Cruise was won both times we played, unfortunately we weren’t the winners but fun anyway.
Wow! People actually won!!! Cool!

It's pretty much just like on TV, but no models....electronic LED screen with the cases.Very basically you buy the equivalent to a bingo card and if they call your card number [don't quote me!] you get to be the one on stage. Everyone else with a card can win a prize [like a Celebrity pencil with no eraser!] if their card matches the cases or something like that.
The last big winner I saw won...I think it was ... $1!
Have the Botanical Gardens been "Refreshed"?
in Bermuda

Hello!
Here's the scoop! I walked over from the Hamilton Ferry and it was a nice and pleasant walk.
The "Gardens" were park like and well kept...however I can't really say it is a Botanical Garden.
IF....the specialty gardens were well kept than I would have been happier. There was a small walled garden that had promise with a small pond in the middle....it needed weeding badly. There is a large what looked like vegetable garden....mayby 1/4 of an acre....it looked 1/4 tended... There are aviarys which look like they were abandoned many years ago and are crumblijng and decaying.
The cafe was open, though I didn't go in. I think it took 35 minutes to walk over...aprx. 2.2 miles. I walked around for 15 minutes...and then headed back. If I had had a hefty garbage bag I would have loved to weed that little walled garden!
