  1. we have not sailed with Celebrity before and have a question (or 2) about boarding time. Do they enforce the boarding time at all? We have 2 people in a cabin and because we checked in on different days, one has an arrival time of 12:00-12:30 PM and the other one has 1:30-2:00. I assume we can board between noon-12:30 (or even earlier). Is that the case?
  2. It seems to be near some shops and restaurants, Is that neighborhood safe for a night? Because we will be flying in the late afternoon, we don't plan to do much if any sightseeing.
  3. We will fly in on 8/29 for one night and we need one room for 2 adults. Are there any hotels under $300 including taxes and fees and have restaurants within walking distance?.
  4. We will fly in the day before our cruise. Any recommendations that are less expensive but still within walking distance to some of the sights? We will arrive in the afternoon so we won't have a lot of time for sightseeing in Boston.
  5. While using a VTP in 2021, some of the tolls were sent to my car rental company. I email a copy of the bill to info@VisitorTollPass.com and they promptly refunded the amount to my credit card.
  6. If you are not a member of Hyatt's loyalty program, you don't get breakfast when book via Value Trips. I booked a room through Value Trips before I join Hyatt, my reservations on Hyatt's website don't show breakfast is included. After I joined, my reservation shows breakfast is included.
  7. Is something like the attached picture acceptable to Royal Caribbean or other cruise lines? Do they only object to power extension with a power cord?
  8. I assume one doesn't rent a car only to go from the airport to the cruise port and back. With a VTP or toll transponder, one doesn't have to worry about what road to take or not take because it may not have manned cash both. If one just wants to go to the port directly, other transportation options are easier, faster, and may even be less expensive.
  9. You can only pick up the VTP in terminal A but you can drop it off at either A or B. https://visitortollpass.com/content/pdf/VTP-dropbox-map-web.pdf
  10. You only have to worry about your arrival flight because there are VTP drop boxes at both terminals A and B. IIRC, going from Terminal B to A was not that big an issue because they are in the same building.
  11. Not sure where OP will rent their car. Almost 2 yrs ago, we picked up a Visitor Toll Pass at MCO ( https://visitortollpass.com/ ) for our rental car during our 2 day stay in Orlando before our cruise. It works most of the time but a couple of tolls were charged to our car rental. After I sent an email to the VIsitor Toll Pass agency, they reimbursed us for the tolls plus the fees the car rental company charged us.
  12. We used NCL transfer last month (Mar 2023) to/from POM. While waiting for the bus, I checked Uber around 10:30 AM and the fare was $37~$38.
  13. I tried " Fort Lauderdale - Port Everglades HLE " before. However, it switched back to FLL airport after I selected the car type. I will likely go with Hertz because with the AAA discount, the total will be less than Budget even if I have to pay for a Uber ride from the airport to Port Everglades.
  14. EV3 works for Budget. For Hertz, even though Port Everglades is an option as drop off location, it will change to Ft. Lauderdale Airpot (600 Terminal Drive, Fort Lauderdale, Fl) when prices are shown. A few years back, I thought they had a drop off location closer to the port.
  15. I tried to reserve a car with Budget with MIA as the pick up location, 2520 Miami Rd, Fort Lauderdale is not one of the possible return locations. FLL airport is.
  16. We rented from Thrifty before and their car lot is by FLL. Are there other rental companies that are closer to the port?
  17. How about the beams that support the "overhang"?
  18. The pre-cruise price was the same as on day 1 for our cruise 2 wks ago. We didn't upgrade pre-cruise because we want to use our onboard credit to pay for the internet package.
  19. How did you arrive at the $99.99 figure? Does it include the credit for your unused FAS minutes? If you have used any of those minutes, I don't think you will get any credit unless the Internet Cafe Manager over-ride the system.
  20. When was your cruise? When we were on NCL Bliss in March 2022, they had one price for day 1 and 2 and another price for day 3 - 7..
  21. Upgrade to unlimted before the cruise or on day 1 is $109.93. Upgrade cost on day 2 is $79.94. Upgrade cost is $49.95 on day 3 or after. All these figures assume none of the 150 FAS minutes have been used.
  22. We took the NCL transfer from POM to MIA last Sunday (3/26) and the whole process from out of the terminal to the airport took over 1 and a half hours. Got in line after 10 am and arrived to the airport before noon. While we were in line, I checked Uber fare and it would have been about $46-$47 at that time of the day.
  23. I never saw cookies on the 2 NCL cruises we have been on. Are they available only during the evenings at Garden Cafe?
  24. If each person buys a one device plan before any minutes of their 150 "free" minutes are used, they get $100 off each. If they buy a 2-devices plan, they only get $100 off. I believe 2 one device plans will come out less expensive than one 2-devices plan..
  25. That is odd. When we want to use a different device, we just have to click "disconnects devices" to kick the 1st devuce out. When we want to use acct 2's 150 minutes instead of the unlimited package, we clicked "switch to another account" and type in the last name & birthday.
