  1. I’m absolutely loving your photo collages. They are brilliant. Iceland is looking very like the west coast of Ireland. The pastries and coffees are enough to make me want to go there! I’m very sorry you’re having such a bad time getting decent food. It’s crazy that this is the case. I hope your letter of complaint has some repercussions and that things improve. You might actually buck the trend of us all and loose weight on this cruise!
  2. Great review. Very enjoyable read. Thank you!
  3. Really enjoying reading your review Yvonne! How do you do the photo collages? Is there a special app for this? They are wonderful!
  4. I totally agree about the solo meeting being too early. I only went to one solo meeting on the first evening last Feb because it was just too early for me. I don’t want to eat dinner until 7.30 or so on a cruise. Going to dinner straight after the meeting is just way too early for me!
  5. It’s my goal to use cabin baggage only for my next cruise. Don’t know if I’ll make it though!
  6. Is the third drink in a mudslide with ice cream on top? I’ve never seen one that big!! 😊😉
  7. Have a wonderful flight! I’ll look forward to reading your experience of Icelandic Air. Bon Voyage!!
  8. That’s funny because I thought of the chocolate martini too! I only allowed myself one on my last cruise - I’m assuming it’s loaded in calories. But then if you add up all the other cocktails I had it probably wouldn’t have made much difference!! Probably just as well they don’t put the calories on the drinks menus! 😱
  9. Yvonne, I’m sorry you were put off by the grammar post. I did see it and would have felt the same had it been sent to me. We all enjoy your posts so much, don’t let one comment put you off! You have a real talent for writing. One of these days I’ll put on my big girl pants and do a Live report but I don’t think I could do anything as interesting as yours!
  10. Can we quote you on that? How could you be on a ship for that long with all those delicious cocktails available and not indulge at least once? If you can you’re a much stronger girl than me!!!!🤦‍♀️
  11. Thank you for your review, I’m really enjoying it!
  12. You haven’t actually said you’re leaving from Heathrow but even assuming you are, it’s definitely way too tight. All you need is an accident on the M25 ( which is often referred to as the biggest car park in the UK) and you’re scuppered! Nevermind morning rush hour traffic. I definitely wouldn’t risk it!
  13. Have a wonderful cruise with your mom and sister. I’ll look forward to reading your adventures!
  14. Thank you! Will have to look up where Bliss is sailing to. I don’t think I’ve seen her mentioned in any of the searches I’ve done.
  15. Thank you! I think I would prefer Bliss too! Curious minds also wonder if Bliss has Vibe - just for future reference!
  16. Port: Malta Ship: The next one I’m sailing on (Prima for now😉) Room: whatever I can afford - so far solo cabin.
  17. I think if they served cocktail’s and beer in the spa, I’d never leave!
  18. I’ve been looking at that itinerary too but also looking at the Encore out of Miami. Getting to and from Miami is so much easier that Galveston.
  19. The worst part of any vacation is leaving our pets, isn’t it? I hate leaving my two even though I have a great place for them to stay. A home from home. And I miss them so much when I’m gone. But I’ll still be cruising!
  20. Yvonne, I’m thoroughly enjoying your trip report. It’s the last thing I read at night and the first thing I read in the morning! It’s always been my dream to go to Alaska but your photos of the whales feeding was just breathtaking! I’m really going to try and make it next year! So glad to see you having such a great time with your dad! I managed to sail in May with my Mom which wasn’t something I thought I would get to do again and I so enjoyed my trip with her. Relish every moment. Even the ones that are difficult!
