I think the lack if water provided to suites has made its way up to Celebrity Suites also. Now need to be Royal Suite or above.

I think this topic was a one and done. There was an improv comedian and her husband on board for the cruise and this was presented by him. I don't think it is an ongoing topic.

There were 3 or maybe 4 Beyond the Podium events about the history of Buddhism.

We were on this cruise also. We did not care for the entertainment. We went to the Taj dinner and really enjoyed the food. The only complaint was that we were seated by the entrance and once the music started in the atrium we could not really enjoy it. We left before we had dessert. Food, service, staff and ship were all great.

We are just finishing our cruise on equinox and are underwhelmed with the shows and over all entertainment.

Good for you. With all the complaints they are probably receiving it's nice to know there are still good CSA with Celebrity who are willing to go the extra mile.

After 25 cruises with Celebrity we've never had our port fees and taxes increase after booking. On a few occasions we've repriced and the new invoice showed higher fees. When we questioned this they were adjusted back to the original amount. There have been a few times when fees and taxes decreased because of a port change due to weather. It was always hit or miss if we got additional OBC for the missed port.

I renewed mine 2 or 3 weeks ago, 3 months before it expired. I had an approval email in one day and received the new card 3 days later. One of the questions asked was if I had been in any country other than Canada or Mexico for more than 24 hours. Since we've only been cruising to the Caribbean with no overnight stays my answer was no.

This looks like the 5 senses menu from Murano's. We were on for NYE and they also had the regular menu at a higher price. The only difference in the NYE and every day menu was a different preparation of 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. We passed.

Are you saying you repriced the cruise to not include the gratuities. Was it a cost savings?

Why would they want to ruin a grilled trout with a salty sauce? I'll take mine plain.

I agree in principle but when booking the Retreat and losing the prepaid gratuities and the OBC I wonder if there will be a price decrease in Retreat categories. I plan on doing some mock bookings to compare prices on a cruise we are interested in but don't want to do until 2025.

Looks like there is no reason to purchase a FCC on Saturday. Unless there is a substantial reduction in suite prices we will not be booking anymore with Celebrity. Oh well, so close to Zenith yet so far. C'est la vie

Don't forget the Surprise Party Dept, the Practical Joke Dept and the Fairy Godmother Department. With all the cuts the Fairy Godmother has been let go.

When did Luminae start taking reservations? I must admit, I would like to have the butler pack for me, not sure about unpacking.

This menu was posted several months ago from someone sailing on an E class ship, it is still showing in the app for Edge.. The Luminae's dinner menu is also different from the ones on S class. Chilled Corn Sout, Duck Leg Confit and Lime & Berry Pavlova.

The talent shows we saw were in the afternoon towards the end of the cruise. I don't know how many crew were involved but there were Celebrity entertainers as part of it along with behind the scene crew, dining staff, cabin attendants, etc.

We haven't seen a crew talent show on Celebrity for years. When they had them the theater was packed. A lot of the crew were quite good, one assistant waiter had us in tears with the song and quality of his voice.

There have been many cuts, changes, extra charges and experiments that do or did not directly impact us. But in every case I took time to make my displeasure known to the Executive Office because these cuts, changes, extra charges and experiments do impact others that we cruise with. I would much rather cruise with a happy group of people than a disgruntled group because the latter will impact my cruise.

At least they listened to loyal, and maybe even occasional Celebrity cruisers, on this issue. Other changes and cuts seem to be a done deal.

I saw where you said you would be unhappy if the only beer was Bud Lite. Be careful what you say, it might come to that. But, that is a small thing so I guess you would survive since you are fortunate.

Nope, that ended years and years ago. When it did Celebrity grandfathered in existing bookings. Even that doesn't happen now.
