  1. Just off Prima yesterday. Hasuki was taking dining reservations (next to Hudson's MDR, deck 7 aft). I think the comedy club, which is also on deck 7, was the place for show reservations but not 100% sure of that since I did not make my own reservations. I never did see the box office.
  2. We never eat in the buffet on embarkation day. We head to the MDR where we can be served a nice, relaxed lunch while waiting for our room to be ready. Plenty of space to put the roller bag next to a wall and out of the way.
  3. I agree with the posts above. I enjoyed Q on Bliss and Encore but paid out of pocket for just a few items. Much better being a food hall item for free and a la carte. With Food Republic...I eat there twice during most cruises and pay out of pocket. Just got off the Prima and used a dining credit for 4 items and split them with someone else...that's the way to go (we did this twice). It was never open for lunch on the Prima but typically is on sea days.
  4. We drove to Lunenburg, Mahone Bay and Peggy's Cove. No damage anywhere.
  5. I am not sure what email you are waiting for. Once you can see your edocs, that's all you need.
  6. We barely saw them above the cloud cover for a few minutes about 12:30am the day we arrived in Reykjavik. We had a tour booked through Viator, which they cancelled about 5pm because we wouldn't be able to see anything. My refund was back on my credit card 2 days later.
  7. It is really going to depend on how many weekly passes they sell. If they are not sold out, then your chances of getting one on a sea day are better but then the spa could be crowded. I tend to avoid the Thermal Spa on cold weather cruises or just get a day pass on a port day.
  8. You should have your edocs in the morning. Check in times were used post Covid to stagger arrivals at the port. But in 6 cruises, in my experience, only once were they ever enforced. And I have never been Haven.
  9. It is one large area with multiple tables. First come, first served. Each table has a tablet with the food listed for every venue. As an example, you can order a salad from The Garden, Chicken Tikka from Tamara, tapas from the truck, etc. It all comes within minutes. If you only want items from one venue, you can sit directly at their counter. Lunch and dinner have different menus. We eat there almost daily and all is complementary. Food in all the restaurants has been great.
  10. Pre-covid, every class but a Studio were able to upbid as long as they did not use a non participating TA. Since the restart even Studios can upbid with the same exception. I have found that it is usually cheaper to pay outright a few weeks before sailing than winning a bid.
  11. Don't know about the Coke but they do take the Starbucks gift cards and app on board.
  12. I am a solo traveler and used my Platinum voucher tonight to treat another solo traveler.
  13. I was told just under 2400. And Captain announced this morning we should arrive in Reykjavik at 6am...a little earlier than planned.
  14. This is correct. I watched several people come down the slide today and the employee at the top told the employee at the bottom which slide was being used (white or blue). They alternated each side. And there was absolutely no screaming...its only about 10 seconds from start to finish.
  15. I am a steerage passenger on this sailing too. Sitting in a hotel in London just waiting for Friday.
  16. Got my approval in 24 hours a few weeks ago so you might want to submit again.
  17. No, only one of the MDRs (either Taste or Savor), O'Sheehans and the buffet.
  18. As long as you are not within 3 days of your sailing (I think that is the cut-off date) you can call and add or delete the offers.
  19. I just did this today via Chat on the NCL website. Took less than 10 minutes...cancelled one night and rescheduled for a different night. No Big Deal.
  20. I just did this in November. It's not as daunting as you make it seem. Get your tender tickets early and get off the ship as soon as possible. You do NOT have to wait for all the tour groups to get off first. We were off the ship and on top before our private tour guide got there, which gave us a few minutes to shop. We had a wonderful day all over the island. He took us to the other side and the top of a monastery, with the clouds rolling in underneath us...truly one of those 'is this really my life?' moments. We went back to Fira for cocktails and appetizers, watching the sun go down...there were very few people there. As soon as it got dark we took the cable car back down and were there in plenty of time to eat dinner on the ship. It was an unforgettable day.
  21. You can use the app also. Your balance won't update but the barista can tell you how much you have left. Works even if you don't have wi-fi.
  22. I am a notorious over packer. My rule of thumb is I have to manage my luggage on my own...if I can't carry it, I can't take it (and I turn down offers for assistance, even if they are young and handsome). I am petite, not young and typically travel solo. I am getting ready for a 12 day cruise, plus 6 days prior in Europe. Temps ranging from 40s in Iceland to 80s in Barcelona. I am slowly weeding out my wardrobe and instead of 3 dresses for dinners, I am down to one LBD with scarves and jewelry. I realize that no one cares what I wear but I dress for me. Do what makes you feel good.
  23. Is this for an airline or PLF? I loaded my documents on Delta for my flight next week and I got a 'pending approval' notice, which was approved within 5 minutes. Don't have to complete my PLF for Spain until Thursday.
  24. Thursday the 6th. Not sure of the time. If I find out, I will post here.
