We were on the Regal for 48 days in Oct/Nov/Dec and also found the MDR food to be quite good. As a matter of fact, the Executive Chef changed after a couple of weeks and the food generally improved. Had some prime rib a few times and each time, I thought the meat to be better than the filet at the CG.

was on the same cruise but for a total of 48 days....from Oct 15th onwards, crew wearing of masks increased, as did pax wearing them. Coughing increased and mention of covid isolation also increased. Crew were fantastic. Food was pretty good for the most part. Enjoyed our time very much.

Had it confirmed again that the TA portion is about 2500 with a very large number of platinum and elites. Clearly the smaller number I was given previously was incorrect. Toulon today, and we are heading to Aix.

Yes, you can take food back to the ship. The crew does it all the time. Looks like LACruiser took the same route as us.

We are on board at the moment..... friends who are joining us in BCN had a 12 hour delay today/last night on their United flight to BCN. Not a great way to start....

A group of 6 family members who were with us on our first 11 days played pickleball every sea day. Balls and paddles are supplied. I don't know how many courts there are, but if I venture to that end of the ship I will try to figure it out.

Another perfect weather day today in Kotor Montenegro.... anchored well up the fjord and enjoyed a long tender ride to and from town. Heard that next cruise will only have 1700 pax and the crossing portion will be down to 1500 passenger. We will be back in Kotor again next cruise. Tomorrow is another sea day....

An absolutely perfect weather day today again. We are sitting in deck 17 at the retreat pool looking at a mirror calm seas. Decided to book some time in the sanctuary while on the crossing. There are many more loungers there than either the sky or enchanted. Based on our progress, we expect to see stromboli today....we passed it twice but in the night so never got a view during the last 11 days. Formal night tonight. Kotor tomorrow.
