  1. just a difference in coding and pricing....
  2. nope...on the Sapphire they are in the Ice Cream area in the outside main pool area.
  3. never had an issue....and they do have Sommeliers now...
  4. we have stayed in the cabin right next to it, and if privacy is of concern, if you spread out your chairs to use the extra room, you will be in full view of your neighbors
  5. I agree with you there....we were recently on the Sapphire for the 32 day South Pacific sailing. Talk about lack of service!...and we are not very demanding people. It was horrible...shamefully horrible. We cancelled all of our bookings after 2 visits. You would never know that it should have been the same experience as we have had on the Sky, Regal and Enchanted.
  6. Princess will not tell you.....but Dr Google is a decent way to do some quick looking. Ship name and dates usually work.
  7. old town....a google search will give you websites that show exactly where she is.
  8. there is no unlimited package...
  9. absolutely....they had those wickers sofas and chairs lined up on the deck overlooking the pool/muts area....and they sold out early in the day. We will be on board during the same time and expect to see the same...
  10. they already do that...on the Enchanted for last Super Bowl, the rented out reserved sofas and loungers on the upper deck with special food and drink service. Seems to me it was either $100 or $150PP
  11. If you look at the deck plans, on the Lido Deck you will see "Slice"....that means slices of pizza
  12. Haven't seen that in years at the IC!....gone too is the shrimp salad. Yes....still have that green pudding with the dollop of red
  13. found this on a quick google search.... E102 on Royal Princess - any information? - Princess Cruises - Cruise Critic Community
  14. Sky Princess is sailing out of Fort Lauderdale, doing 7 dayers in the Caribbean. We have family members leaving the ship this morning....
  15. yes, and based on experience, you need to get your seats at about 6am and hold them for the day.
  16. someone recently posted here that they would be doing a "live from" starting next cruise, so keep your eyes peeled here. We will be boarding with you at the end of the month, also.
  17. The more that the tour guide reminds us to tip, the less I do....on one recent one, she must have mentioned it at least 10 times during the relatively short bus ride to and from the destination. Small tip. One guide in St Vincent handed out comment cards, and when we he collected them, proceeded to read each one....not very polite.
  18. The OP is from Toronto Canada...
  19. ...and for the Super Bowl game, you have to remember that time zones present a problem....in addition to the fact that people from that side of the globe don't care.
  20. the menu is on the app...visible when you are on the ship.
  21. best thing to do is not plan too much in advance.....
  22. we have booked many 20 dayers in the caribbean for a total of 30 to 40 days at a time, and on day 2 of being on board have always been able to book 2 loungers for the second 10 days and the remaining days, also. Tell them that you are also willing to get cancellations during the first 10 days...there are many people who just don't show up, sadly.
  23. evening of first formal night usually
