  1. How the heck are you supposed to plug a shaver into that thing? EDIT: Oh wait, I think I see a couple of vertical slots hidden among the odd shaped things. Never mind...
  2. We have never paid for a soda. Granted, we pretty much only drink actual drinks, but on the rare occasion Mrs. Schmoopie demands a Diet Coke, they're always free.
  3. Exclusive?? Isn't practically everyone Silver or above? Could be a massive turnout. What's below Silver...Plastic?
  4. That's good, but just a reminder that there are no formal nights on NCL
  5. That's not it. We only booked one NCL excursion and everything came out correctly when we confirmed the reservation. Again, the app shows the correct total, with a ZERO balance...but the website shows the total as $75 more...with the $75 due yesterday before midnight. Both the PCC and the "chat" person say there is no balance due.
  6. I get that, but that doesn't explain why we have two different statements...the website vs. the app. Speaking of statements, I fully agree with your last statement. 😁
  7. Glad to see Jack's back. He was gone for a while (I believe an extended vacation). He's our second-favorite CD, after Simon when he was on the Prima. (Or was it Alvin? Theodore? I get my Chipmunks confused.)
  8. We're already past final payment, and our "Balance Due" is still showing up.
  9. UPDATE ON MY ORIGINAL POST: So, my account on the NCL website this morning still shows a balance due of $75. It also shows a deadline to make the payment of 11:59 pm on May 17...AKA our final payment date. Since it is now May 18 and the cruise still appears under my account, I'm assuming they haven't canceled it. Now here's where it gets even goofier. On the NCL app it shows ZERO balance due. Although, for some reason the total cost of the cruise on the website is $75 more than the total amount on the app. That's just nuts.
  10. Well, I did say "most likely". Obviously not the case all the time...I think you got lucky. We booked our own flights round trip from Chicago to Rome for September. Booked the flights as soon as they came available many moons ago. We're now 120 days out and both flights are practically sold out. (Unless you want middle seats)...
  11. In keeping with the theme: Your trip reports 🛟🛟🛟🛟🛟🛟🛟🛟🛟🛟 If you start hanging out exclusively on the Princess board, it will be our loss and their gain. Don't be a stranger.
  12. That sounds good, but by the time NCL gets around to notifying you of the flights, the better seats will most likely be picked over or gone. People booking on their own can start booking and reserving seats over 300 days ahead of the flight.
  13. Marijuana is so prevalent, it looks like they put it in Pookie's drink.
  14. Our finance guy is also very good. He advised me to only get a balcony if Mrs. Schmoopie will actually use it.
  15. Thanks for adding your two cents' worth. 😁 Actually, this is helpful info.
  16. Happy to see the Matador making an appearance on the Escape. That drink can be as elusive as cookies on some ships. Now if I can find someone to make a Grass Clippings...
  17. My friend is a fine, upstanding young (?) man, who will appreciate this information. He does know that he can book Choir of Man at 26 days out (assuming NCL doesn't replace it with some lame version of yet another lame game show). My friend is eternally grateful.
  18. On the first entertainment thingy it shows Choir of Man on the 20th and 24th. On the second entertainment thingy, it doesn't show them at all. What gives? Suddenly sold out? Canceled? Asking for a friend who wants to see Choir of Man again in September.
  19. I read it, but we don't has FAS+, so that's not the issue. I'm almost tempted to pay the $75 and let them refund me later. Probably better than getting canceled. Talk about cancel culture. UPDATE: I just did an online chat with NCL and the rep also said there is no balance showing on their end. I saved a copy of the chat transcript, so at least I have something in writing to back me up, just in case.
