I think it means they are not accepting any new bids or changes and are probably deciding on upgrades. If it goes to expired you haven’t been successful but pending means still in the running I’d say 🤞I’ve bids for 26/8 sailing and I wish they’d put me out of my misery! Good luck.

Price - or should I say discount - can vary. It was 10% when I first first checked but now down to 8%.

Is there a customer engagement email address? Want to escalate a non awarded points issue that I’d been told by email would be sorted over a month ago . No further response from normal cust service email queries. Thanks

I’ve asked this question in a thread here but just wonder if anyone had experience they could share. If you book with TA is it ‘allowed’ to pay to upgrade to another category cabin after final payment? I’ve asked my TA to contact C about this but she was told that it wasn’t possible after final payment. Only way to do this is through ‘move up’, she was told. Another person said that it was, in fact, possible. Can I phone C to try again or will they only talk to TA at any stage?

Do you know if Celebrity will talk to me directly now that final payment has been made? My TA inclined to accept Celebrities word and give up on this.

yes, I had trouble finding orders as I had only gone into ‘my reservation’ and not ‘cruise planner. Need to see your initials on top RH corner and shopping cart beside it. I am only shown 2 orders WiFi and classic drinks with zero cost. I also booked transfers and grat are part of AI package. All shown on receipt from TA so I’m assuming I’m ok? Maybe account updating leaves a lot to be desired!

Im interested to see how you get on too. My sailing not till Aug 26th and all my bids pending. Sailing shows only retreat available on booking site. Got cold feet and tried to get quote from Celebrity for upgrading officially but my TA told by Celeb agent that couldn’t be done after final payment . Fingers crossed and good luck to you .

I wonder is it that some of the cruises like mine end August are showing as sold out for most categories and therefore maybe only cancellations allowing for successful bid ups. I’m watching this thread too and am disappointed there is not much activity . I love to see levels of bids that are successful and unsuccessful. Maybe people are not bothering to post as too close to sailing when the get results. Anyway, as previous poster said, we’ll enjoy our cruise anyway!

I think you’re right but it might be an option for later evening passengers. On our Florida cruises we always noticed that here were excursions which left you at the airport at the end but with our cruise the only one like this is Padua one which we’re not interested in. And very pricey!

I think drinks wise maybe only from ‘classic non alcoholic ‘ if I’m reading the literature correctly. Mentions ‘ have a cup of coffee’🙄

Our sailing in August seems to be sold out in all non suite categories and I still was offered 4 veranda categories to bid on. ( from current OV) Unless some verandas/ concierge bid up to suites, I don’t imagine there’s much hope of success.

I just noticed an offer in excursions for our cruise in August ending in Ravenna. Offer to stay onboard until 1pm when you will be transferred to Venice airport. Price €98. Still need to be out of your cabin by 8.30am but might suit some people rather than sitting in the airport if you had a late flight. Transfers on their own about €50 so price doesn’t seem so bad. Our flight is at 5.20pm so I’m considering it although might be a bit tight. I wasn’t sure whether this ‘stay on board’ option was still being done.

Increased all to €400 and bid on all categories. Sailing showing sold out for all except Retreat so not hopeful of vacancies cropping up in my categories but you never know I suppose.

When we were assigned a guarantee room we were able to transfer to another room when better location one was available - once in the same category. Our TA phoned and did it for us. Might be worth a try if you saw one you liked. - (room, I mean…)

Just put in 3 bids for min amount €370 for veranda, concierge and ultra DL Veranda. Min is €370 and next bid when you slide the bar is €395 .

Can I ask. Once you’ve put in bids. How can you see or modify/ delete some bids. Can’t seem to see on my Celebrity account online. * actually just now saw on email there’s a link 😊
