  1. Maybe the attendants would be happy to do it in exchange for some hygiene products or nyquil.
  2. I've taken Carnival and NCL out of Manhattan, it's definitely a less genteel crowd than you get when you sail out of Florida. Sailed Carnival out of Long Beach, nothing like that, even on the party weekend cruises. But I have come to expect the stereotype from Manhattan.
  3. The drug store in the dockyard sells virtually everything ever invented. Except cars.
  4. On the Anthem of the Seas this spring they required reservations for the bumper cars and they limited you to one or two reservations for the week. And you had to show the reservation on your phone when you arrived. You could walk up and half the time might get to go. But I agree with what you were saying, given the demand, things like go-karts on NCL, iFly on Royal, etc., I don't think charging is unreasonable, like the arcades.
  5. That's hardly the worst of it. The water in the hot tub isn't exactly pristine.
  6. Clothing doesn't have to "welcomed" to be "permitted".
  7. If they fly you into LAX... ugh. Might make that 100 miles seem shorter.
  8. Oh look, another person looking to be offended.
  9. Each time I take a solo cruise I am older. I can't control it.
  10. I did the other end of the trail in October a few years ago (Dockyard to Hamilton). With a helmet and light backpack for water I still wound up pulling over at a grocery store to get more water. Very humid. Started out a little after 9am.
  11. A pair of shorts can't offend someone. The "offense" is self-induced.
