Today I found out I won my bid after seeing one bid expire, and the other say pending on Friday, but I was locked out and could not modify or cancel my bid.

This is my cabin..... Is the bed by the balcony?

Super excited for my cruise on Monday, and I just found out I won my Move Up bid to a Prime Concierge Class stateroom on deck 12 😀 This will be my first cruise on Celebrity... How can I tell if the configuration of my cabin has the bed near the washroom or the balcony?

Update! I won my bid! I was checking my credit card authorizations all day, and at 4:55PM I saw a charge from Celebrity so I knew I had won the upgrade 😀 The app shows my new cabin number, and of course I received the email confirmation as well. My original cabin was a single infinite verandah cabin, and my new cabin is a Prime Concierge Class Cabin on deck 12. I followed others advice on here and called Celebrity right away to move cabins within the category (they had me in a forward connecting), now I am in a mid-ship non-connecting cabin! I'm super excited for Monday!

How do you know what is on Normandie's menu if you are seated in Cosmopolitan?

First time on Celebrity in November - very excited! Sailing on Beyond after over 50 cruises with Royal. I am Diamond Plus on Royal, so Elite on Celebrity. I am sailing in an Edge Single Stateroom with infinite Verandah. I got the Move Up offer and was able to bid on just about every category, including The Retreat suites. I bid on Concierge Class and Aqua Class cabins. Has anyone that was booked in a single stateroom ever been upgraded? I know I am paying double, but just curious. Thanks 🙂

I am! I haven’t done a LIVE in quite some time though. Next up is Celebrity Beyond in November, and then a solo cruise on Oasis in February….. I may just post Live on that one!

Andrew, I am still in shock that I was there! It was an unbelievable experience. It was so amazing to meet you, Lisa and Owen - a more warm and welcoming family would be hard to find!! I am looking forward to taking you all to dinner next time you’re in the city… you promised!!!

I am on Explorer right now and we are in Coco Cay. Headed to Jamaica when we leave here later this afternoon. A bit worried about the return trip…. We are scheduled back in port Miami on Saturday. I’ll be onboard next week too.

Honestly, as much as I’d love a Perfect Day… I’d be happy to miss it to stay in calm seas. I’m on a b2b with the week of the 12th - heading to the ABC’s .

I’ve been watching closely, arrived in Miami yesterday, boarding Explorer today. We are supposed to be at Coco Cay tomorrow…

I was upgraded to a GS on my Explorer cruise embarking this Sunday. I found out exactly 9 days prior.

I am cruising in a Grand Suite on Explorer this Sunday, and staying pre-flight and pre-cruise at 2 different Marriott's. I am interested to see if the switch to wall mounted bathroom products is a thing - sounds like it is. Personally I don't care because I bring my own, but I agree that wall mounted anything just looks cheap.

This is great news - if there are no crew, there is no cruise. Masks are a good idea when cases are on the rise.

Does anyone know who the Concierge is on Explorer?

Your protocols are exactly what I do too. I will wear my mask in the same circumstances as you. I cruise on Explorer November 6th for 14 nights (b2b). I have just recovered from Covid - got it for the first time 2 weeks ago, and I don't want it again!

The minimum bid was $300. I bid $330 - In Canadian dollars, so that would be roughly $235 USD. I paid double, so $670 CDN which would be about $480 USD.
