Have often were the fountain shows at the Aqua Theater. Did they show many movies at night there?

My 90 year old mom LOVES to review the MDR menu before dinner. On other ships, I pop down and photo the MDR that is usually posted earlier in the day. I read somewhere that on Allure the menu is on the TV. True?

Trying to find the Activity Waiver on the RCCL site for Allure cruise. Is it in the Cruise Planner or Online Check In section or somewhere else? thanks
-
the ST cruise date on Explorer is listed as March 1-8, 2020
-
You waited for hours in Group 10 to board the ST cruise? You should have used the transporters.
-
I think it is march 8-15 2020. The charter company (licensed by CBS) had a booth at some ST convention with the info. Not on their site yet. the are still selling the Jan 2019 cruise.

Star Trek the Cruise is chartering Explorer in March 2020 for an all ship Star Trek cruise. I am a Diamond member, do they still have the Diamond Club open during full charters, and the three drink per happy hours. I am guessing NO Diamond perks for full charters, but just checking.

From the OP: For for clarity, we (myself, husband, and parents) will be sharing the cards only in the sense of all four of us staring at the same cards. Will probably take all of us just to keep up !

We are taking my 90+ year old parents on the Allure and thought it would be fun for the four of us to play Bingo one day. Was looking at a $69 package to share between us. I remember the classic bingo, five in a row with the center spot free. Now I see on Allure "electronic cards" vs. paper, not sure what that is. Also how long does a bingo session take? Basically asking for any insight for a newbie cruise bingo player.

Thanks for taking questions:
At embarkation (assuming Terminal 18, Port Everglades ) where did you enter on deck 5 (near what)?
How was check in at Terminal 18? We have expedited arrival, not sure what / how that works?
Did you visit the Wipe Out cafe, I think this could my 90 yo parents favorite breakfast / lunch area.
If you are Diamond level, could you get drinks between 430-8 in the MDR, Speciality Restaurants, theater?
We have the three dinner package but were they also offering any specials at the speciality restaurants?
thanks again

We always carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer (like the size allowed on plane). After EVERY trip to the buffer, back at the table we clean our hands and dig in.

Traveling with 90 year old parents on Allure in Oct. On embarkation day for lunch, I think they would like the Park Cafe type food. If there is no seating in the Park area (not sure how crowded things get, first time on Allure type ship), would it be okay to take the food to Dazzles club ? I think they would like the view and the setting. I PROMISE to clear the table and return the food/trash/etc. to the Park Cafe area !

Going on Allure in October, have the three night dinner package. Understand I cannot make reservation until boarded. In general, would it be difficult to get Chops at 630 or 7 for 4 persons on the first night. Any insight helpful.

From the OP: I honestly have no idea what EA is, or why we were chosen. Just get me to the pier, and I can check in anyway they want.

Just printed off boarding pass for husband and I for Allure in Oct (Port Everglades). We both got "Expedited Arrival" boarding passes. My 90 year old parents are traveling with us under separate reservations. Have not finished their online check in, need to get the pix taken and upload. Just hope we are not put in an Expedited line, and my 90 year old parents are put in regular online check in line. I like to stay close to them during checkin, with all the paper work and electronic stuff, it can be a bit confusing for them. Hopefully once I get them set up in online with check in, they will be Expedited too. Any experience with the Expedited Arrival process?

Three persons wearing baseball caps at dinner in Izumi. Geez.

The Entertainment Booking my Allure cruise opened today.......79 days prior to sailing. As for the comedy show / club, on the last full day of the cruise, ours has a 10:30 pm show in the Amber (main) theater.....lots of seating there! Also, I think they have a 9 pm on the last full day too, that is also in the Amber, is family appropriate (thanks goodness, I am taking my 90 plus parents who would be more comfortable) and does NOT need reservations

About MILKSHAKES: On ships were both Johnny Rockets and Ben & Jerrys is available, can some tell me the price and size difference, and while purely subjective, the taste comparison.

Sailing on the Allure in the Caribbean in October. For outside dining in the evening (6-8) in Central Park (Italian, Steakhouse), how is the experience? Is it too hot usually in the Caribbean? Covered in case of showers? Really popular so hard to get tables outside ? Any other thoughts? Thanks.
-
From the OP: Yesterday I used the tip from this board and EXITed the app instead of just closing browser. Was able to get back in. And still no entertainment for the Oct. cruise listed.
-
When I try access my Allure reservation for Oct for checkin, I am getting a message saying Error: Your reservations is being modified...A LOT. I was able to enter info for the first passenger, but now getting that error. Is it common to see that error or I am doing something wrong.

I am on the same cruise, and I don't see anything in Entertainment either. I did see VIP experience for Mamma Mia ($79), and while I am not interested in that, it shows the system is being updated. Just have patience I guess

I just opened a thread on a similar theme ! did not see yours before I posted, but hopefully we will get some good guidance from the folks on the boards

Sailing on Allure in October. First time on a ship that has reservations for shows. Any tips on what/when to book. Have a three dinner speciality package too. Just trying to figure out what shows and times to book in advance online, when I can only make speciality dinner reservations once onboard. Definitely want to see Mamma Mia, Blue Planet, Ocean Aria, and the ice shows. Thanks. BTW, my online booking of entertainment has not opened yet, but will be very soon I hope.
Be careful when ordering gift certificates from AARP!!

I do compliance work for a living. When money is involved, read the fine print. If you don't understand or don't want read it, then pass on the offer. But, I will admit for no cost things, like terms and Conditions for APPLE, no way I read all that stuff
