Soon will be my first time on ship with Freestyle machines. So if they are out of service, we can still get sodas at bars, right? And even if in service, bars are still on option for sodas right? (I understand that a bar would not have the 100+ variety).

Going on Rhapsody, husband and I are both getting the Soda Package. Do all the souvenir cups looks exactly alike ? or are there different styles. Just don't want to constantly be asking "Is this one yours or mine?" And no I don't mind drinking after him, but I may not want to sip something that turns out to be flat, warm, and or some ( at least to me) unappealing combination of flavors.

Thanks. Since it a) does not apply to Diamond level and b) does not apply to Izumi, I guess my questions have been addressed !
-
From what I have read Diamond (and higher) cruisers get a BOGO free offer (usually) for the first night at one of the speciality restaurants. We will be on the Rhapsody out of Tampa in April. The restaurants are Chops, the Italian place, and Izumi (Japanese). Since Izumi is a la carte pricing, can we use the BOGO there, and how would that work. Thanks.

I drink a lot of water especially on vacations in warm weather. I am booked on the Allure in 2018, and wonder if there a place to refill a personal water bottle ? I know there are water bottle packages (Evian) that for run about 2.85 per bottle, but I really don't need 'fancy' water, just the standard "out of the tap" works for me. Usually a generic type flavoring. I realized there are health issues with persons refilling personal bottles, and I realize that the cruise lines have a large profit margin probably on water, so what are the options besides the for-fee bottled on board? thanks.

Just returned for the Summit in SJ cruise 11/18. And yes, Celebrity did offer a free shuttle service from the ship to the SJU airport at the end of the cruise. The four of us decided to take a cab anyway, just easier with elderly parents. Cost was $26 for four persons and four bags, plus tip. No bad. No idea if they will continue the free shuttle. Sure the local cabbies are hurting with the loss of business

When I try to log in at rcl.com, it NEVER recognizes my userid and PW......is this a system error on their part that others have experienced? Or just me ?

Supposedly the rate between SJU airport and the PanAmerican pier is regulated. The rate is $19 for up to 4 persons, and then $1 per luggage piece. The rate is higher between 10 pm and early morning.

Sailing on the Summit out of San Juan on 11/11. Just realized I don't know which pier ????? Old San Juan piers or the Pan American piers ? Will call X and ask, but wanted to know if anyone here has the info. thanks. (Nice to be able to tell the cabbie where to go !)

This site, may be useful...the homepage has a links to pages dedicated to Airport, Hotels, CruisePorts. And a live chat functionality (I asked about taxi availability from SJU to the port, which they said was fine)

We are flying in the same day as our 11/11 cruise on the Summit from SJ. We booked it this way long before the hurricane season. I figure we have a direct flight, arriving SJ at 2:43 pm. Sailing time in 8 pm. No worries.
-
We are sailing no the Summit out of SJ on 11/11. In our situation a) the ship does not sail until 8pm, so we can board as late of 7pm, and b) we have a direct flight from Charlotte NC, so no connections. I booked a direct flight (arriving SJ at 2:45 pm), on the day of sailing (so no hotel hassles). Usually fly down a day early, so taking a chance this time.

Generally, I avoid any product that advertises with SNAKES. Those things just creepy me out :o

Now that the Rooftop Terrace has been installed and in-use on several ships, interested in persons thoughts. Good use of space? Variety of seating? Types of shows (movies, concerts, travel) ? Just generally, those who have been at the Rooftop, what do you think?

Can anyone comment on the non-sushi options at Sushi on Five. My husband loves sushi, but not me. I see some noodle dishes, but not a very good description of them. Any pictures or experiences appreciated.

Planning on use reward points from my Celebrity Visa card for OBC on a RCL cruise. If I don't use all the OBC I have redeemed with my points, what happens to the remaining? Gone ? Credit on Visa card ? Cash back ? thanks.

Thanks for the download. Have to say the evening shows in main theater look pretty weak.

I am Diamond and went online to select my beverage preference (see below from the RCL website) to be Diet Coke? My husband is also Diamond and did the same. So when we sail on the Allure, how many diet cokes would two Diamonds sharing the cabin get ? One each? A six pack each ? (not being greedy, just curious)
Emerald, Diamond, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club members will receive Welcome Gift on day one of their sailing. The pre-selected gift/amenity will consist of snack and bottled water which will be placed in the guest's stateroom. In addition, Emerald, Diamond, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club members also be able to go online to http://www.RoyalCaribbean. com/UpgradePreferences or call one of our Loyalty Representatives (http://www.RoyalCaribbean.com/ContactLoyalty) in their local offices to pre-select from a list of beverages to be included with their Welcome Gift. One beverage can be selected per guest 18 years of age or older. Preferences must be entered or updated for your upcoming cruise vacation up to 5 days before a US based sailing and 7 days for an internationally based sailing. The beverage selection list for Emerald and Diamond members will include water, juice and soda items. In addition to the previous list Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club members will be able to select from a more expanded list of beverages. If a guest has not selected an item then bottled water will be sent to the stateroom. House alcoholic brands may be substituted or changed, and are subject to availability.

I have tried different browsers, but just cannot get to the booking site for Royal Caribbean on their web site. Is it me, or does their booking site have issues? any tips ?

Any particular locations / cabin numbers would be helpful

Seriously looking at a window cabin, deck 9, overlooking Central Park on the Allure. Quiet is probably first consideration, then view, Any experiences ? This will be first time on Oasis class ship.

I have read that the muster drill is 7:45 pm. Plan dinner accordingly, I have 6:00 reservations.
-
I read that on Allure and Harmony (maybe others) that perks come with interior balconies. Boardwalk balconies get lunch for 4 at J. Rockets, soda package for 2 and surf lessons. Central Park view balconies get bottle wine, lunch for 2 at Jamies, and gaming lessons.
Do this perk apply for Interior Window cabins that over look the Central Park and Boardwalk ? Or just those balconies?
Inclusion of C&A numbers seems hit-and-miss...is it an issue?

On travel docs for upcoming cruise, some show my Crown and Anchor status, but some don't. Any issues /downsides of having them add it at the checkin or onboard ship.
