We had a wonderful experience with Luggage Forwarding December Thru Cunard White Star Luggage Service. Bags had to be ready for pick up 2 weeks before our QM2 trip but they were in our cabin once we boarded. They were picked up after we went thru Customs in Brooklyn and at our front door 48 hours later. UPS picked up and delivered the bags. This was in December 22.

No signal in our suite. On the port side and only one Q4 between our cabin and the duplex. We were five suites down from the repeater. Guess the door in the Q1 blocks the signal.
-
Our QG cabin included drinks (up to $12), gratuities, and basic internet for one device. These are usual inclusions when booking in the U.S. Our suite, towards the back, did not have a Wi-Fi signal. Could use it in the Grill Lounge, and other public areas. This was on transatlantics east and westbound. You may prefer a different line if WI-FI is super important to you. This was on the QM2, can’t speak to the QE or QV.

The main restaurant is still open on Keller nights. If you are allergic to shellfish that would be your safe choice.

Many of the TK themed meals are family style. You share a larger plate of food like the salad and they will bring more if you need more. Was anything served with the ribeyes? Did they provide family style vegetables and potatoes.

I would imagine if you are too I’ll or not fit enough for the YF vaccine maybe you shouldn’t travel to countries requiring the vaccine. We had ours after we were sixty with no bad side effects.

The only restriction in carry on bags is you, or your spouse, needs to pick the bag up and put it through the X-ray machine just like at the airport.
-
At least you have time to cancel if you don’t want to pay the new rate.

We had a great visit docking in Zebrugg. Be sure to visit Burgess, it’s a wonderful city and so picturesque. Of course there is also the best chocolate and wonderful cafes. Don’t miss it.

Then again, many of us paid for a full glass. According to many recent reports, X decided to take out some of the contents of the glass for those of us who are not in suites.
I'm cautiously optimistic that my glass will be more full than empty on my upcoming cruises. I hope the same will be true for everyone else's glass as well. .
Since you will be in the Retreat you shouldn’t notice any negative changes. If you prefer to eat in the OV for dinner you will notice there is less choice.

We had wonderful lectures on the QM2 for our 19 day voyage. Who is onboard the QV giving the lectures?

Seabourn does not dock in St. Kitty. They always tender passengers to a private beach for the caviar in the surf event. They also have a barbecue with unlimited lobster tails, steaks and barbecued ribs. Passengers that want to ditch the event can go into St. Mitts proper for sightseeing or shopping.

There is little to no accommodation for folks with hearing loss on the cruise lines. Guess they want to continue to ignore this group of disabled passengers.
-
No additional charge for booked passengers, no reason to complain or email LLP.

Response may not be helpful to the OP but will be to anyone else considering getting lash extensions on a cruise!

If the OP’s friend had done an internet search on lash extensions she would never have gotten them especially on a cruise. The procedures to be followed after getting extensions is not something you want to do on vacation, especially avoiding humidity, showers and soap. Many people have reactions to the glue and she should have had a patch test before the procedure.

This thread should be retitled and put under the port, Seward. The train is not an option for any cruise line unless you want to take the 8:30 train. This does not relate to Celebrity at all!

Luggage Forward is great and is still in business. They deliver your luggage to your cabin on Cunard but they may be available for other lines.

Since Crystal is gone there aren't many cruise lines anymore where you find a contemporary experience with a luxury moniker. And you can hardly call Cunard contemporary. Luxury is one thing, but if you're in the affluent age group of 35-60 then Cunard isn't really an attractive option, more a geriatric ward. So I do get folks who have a lot of cash to spend stick to The Retreat upper class suites the NCL's Haven.
We were on the QM2 for 19 days in Dec 22. There was a lovely mix of ages on board although I didn’t see more than 6 mobility scooters. Celebrity was more of a geriatric ward on our last crossing. I imagine the world cruise might have on older demographic but it certainly isn’t the case on transatlantic crossings or cruises less than 21 days.

With the new, downgraded dress code passengers may dress exactly how the refugees outside the hotel in Manhattan. They all wore jeans and sport shirts so they could have easily dined in the Seabourn Restaurant. I fully understand the homeless encampment.

In December the cost limit per drink was $12 U.S. Have they raised the cost to $13?

I would think the jig is up on that claim.
Have you been shopping lately? There are still many supply issues so no, that jig is not up!

Farewell Mr. Diamond, Seabourn will miss you. I don’t think your experience had anything to do with Seabourn Post COVID. It has everything to do with a stabilizer break down on a brand new ship and their attempt to get it fixed. I don’t understand why this makes Seabourn a discount cruise line or are you just having a “moment”.

You may want to read the cruise contract you agreed to before you hire a lawyer.

Picking departure time from Penn Station
in Cunard Line
Posted
We had a driver transfer to Penn Station and had no problem catching a 10:40 AM train on 12/22.
