  1. Absolutely agree, and I feel for the OP also. I have felt the same way at times from certain hosts - perhaps because of the great treatment/comps I have received from other NCL hosts, so I know what is possible. Maybe I'm jaded, but I don't get excited over chocolate-covered strawberries like some folks do - in fact I am on NCL strawberry & chocolates overload and don't care if I ever see another plate again :) One NCL casino host treated me and FOUR of my non-casino playing friends to a pretty pricey "girls spa" day - just offered without me asking. Another on the same ship/cruise (Breakaway) threw me a birthday party (huge cake, streamers, hats, etc.) in LeBistro and picked up the tab for me and three (non-casino) friends. Two of my (again, non-player) friends wanted to see the Cirque show (I've seen it once and that was enough) and the casino host picked it up - and I wasn't even there! These were all "bill direct to the casino" comps that never even hit my bill. (My final bill of $900+ was wiped out as well.) I lost $14K on that sailing, but at least I felt like the casino appreciated my gaming and business. It wasn't even the dollar value of the comps that made me feel appreciated, it was the constant "what can we do for you?" and trying to anticipate what would make me (and my friends) happy that made the difference. Call me an ingrate, but I just don't get that feeling from a strawberry.

PS Not "bragging" that I dropped $14K. It wasn't my proudest moment. LOL

At least you lost in style. I also recently felt that on the star, I had 3 comped massages and felt that the host and crew took care of me. I can't get that in Vegas anymore.

  2. If you go through Urcomped.com and show them Any offers you've gotten from any cruise lines like Free cabin, BB, Premier or Ultra offers MSC is giving people a Free cruise. And it's 100% Free. No port fees or taxes

They do require a $200 deposit pp But they give that back as OBC

People on the Carnival Casino FB site just got off the free cruise and loads of others got their cruises and have them booked already

Great review there as well about the ship n casino

The casino is Non smoking but there's a cigar bar right near it

Also there's No Craps table at all

Thanks for this. I just signed up.

  3. that one heck of a way to get a free cruise. dont try this at home

how old are you? curious if 25/50 or 40/80

why in the world did you give her 100 (and get no sex to boot!)

and was she as bad as she thought she was? doubtful!

    -I'm 35

-The 100.00 was supposed to be a one day loan. I assume she wouldn't remember anyway she was so blotto.

-Was she so bad ? I couldn't get past the weeping and the drunkenness. Best to keep her away from my cabin. Hahaha

  4. Last year while sailing the Caribbean I was hit on by a drunk women in the casino. I agreed to go for food with her late at night at o'sheehans but had no interest in her and thought I had made it clear. At the table she got super depressed and crying as I wouldn't take her back to my stateroom. She assumed I thought she was ugly and wondering why this always happens to her.

She said by the end of the cruise I'd have sex with her. So anyway my whole cruise I had to avoid this drunk lady who was double my age.

I saw her a few times in the casino and she made me look like I was in AA she drank so much.

One time she asked to borrow 100.00, so basically I paid someone 100.00 not to have sex.

That was my weirdest story on a ship hahaha.

  5. Just be aware that the food credit can't be applied towards tips. We used ours for several lunch visits at Food Republic on the Escape and it picked up everything but the tips we added. If you have questions about it during the week just ask at the Host desk in the casino.

We will be on a cruise during the change from old to new year Golden benefits. (Cruise is 3/26 to 4/2). Not sure how that is going to work for what our tier benefits will be on that particular cruise???

I was told that the benefits will continue till the end of the cruise. I printed the email for proof as it's hard to trust these people keeping their word.
