Sorta the same thing happened with me. I later emailed them and finally got better results. They looked up when I specifically sailed and obviously the amount I spent and now I'm comped many cruises. So I'd recommend trying another rep or emailing them.

Sharm was, from memory, perhaps better suited for scuba diving. We had extremely strong and scary currents.

In Muscat there are some good spots. The oman dive center / muscat dive center runs several daily snorkeling, diving / dolphin watching tours from their Base every day. Nice, but of course no where near as good as the great barrier reef here. But a very good chance to see sea turtles.

Hi, beginning of April Ill be in Some ports that I have no tours booked and would consider snorkeling. If anyone can recommend any and or companies they used please do. Muscat, Oman. Fujairah, UAE. Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. This area and these ports I've never been to.

Buy one bucket of beer on the first day or have your steward bring you an empty bucket for your cabin. Start at one end of the ship with one other person with you. Get one beer at each bar you pass-- tell the bartender you are taking it back to your cabin for later -- most will probably let you leave with it unopened, especially for a dollar or two tip. If not, move on to the next bar. Have the other person guard the accumulated beers somewhere away from the bar at each stop. By the time you get to your cabin, you have 17 beers to put in your bucket. Add ice.

I got a response. Golden status will remain throughout the cruise. I asked about Specific perks. So i will take email printout with me. As for play i don't know.

I obtained golden status mid march this year. I'm looking at booking a twenty night cruise that departs dubai near the end of march next year would i have golden status still ?

Called this morning for sailing the star on Jan 31st out of Tampa I was offered suites at a high price and told there's no balconys or mini suites available for upsell currently. I'll try again in a few days.

CET gave me a few of those last year. I used one for a Europe 7 day cruise (inside cabin) and the other Europe wasn't an option but I booked a Tampa-Tampa 7 day inside. I'm a diamond player, Seven stars I believe will get suites I believe. For me they're valuable as I travel solo so the taxes and fees are low comparing to paying for a cruise solo. Also as a previous poster mentioned you can always pay for upgrades for a better room.

I recommend the chase Marriott visa. First year annual fee is waved. Saves you 2.5% in currency exchange fees, and get some free rooms the first year with points.

sorry to hear that. I went there last year. It was neat to experience once.

I'm booked for 10170 for a cruise next month. I requested a lounger and they said they would recommend to remove one of the two chairs. I hope the balcony is a decent size for just one traveler.

I'm also diamond with CET, I was given a certificate for a free cruise for two at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas last month. Do you think I will get a free drinks card for in the casino on board ? Is it generally automatic or should I contact them ahead of time. Sailing on Epic in May, Barcelona to Barcelona. Thanks.
