  1. On Royal Class suites, we liked the side-facing better, even with the smaller balcony, as they had the more open bedroom/living room plan. 🙂
  2. Just another thing to show that they are probably artistic rendering "issues", the renderings of lounge type chairs in The Piazza were padded.
  3. Going by past experience, they meant for your wife to stop by the last Eve and pick up the prints. That's been our experience...
  4. That same machine also does breadsticks and many other shapes; it amazed me!
  5. Just for additional information, Majestic Princess does some lovely Oz itineraries!😍
  6. At the risk of sounding naive, did she stop by the photo desk for the pics prior to the end of the cruise?
  7. Your server was...incorrect. The menus are not the same. Not even. But they are both wonderful in different ways 😊
  8. Well... The smoking smell was abated somewhat by the air purifiers. It was abated even more by winning!!😁
  9. And yet, if you look, there are just as many positive comments too, so...
  10. We enjoy the options that the packages present. We like our wines, and when we are "on holiday" we like to start the day with a "spirited" coffee, mayhaps a mimosa with breakfast, etc. Without going too far, suffice it to say, we find it to be worthwhile😁. The specialty dinners will be great on the upcoming Australian B2B, and photos are always a hoot (we aren't known for sticking to stock poses, we go WAY off script😂). And who doesn't like a chance to win five large or a free cruise?!?! What fun!😄 And fun is what this countess does!
  11. You aren't able to use OBC to pre book specialty restaurants, only excursions.
  12. I'm almost in a food coma after the Chef's Table pics thank you!!!!😁
  13. I think that they only loan out the chef's coats for the galley tour and then take them back. 🙂
  14. How did he order the chop? Rare, Medium rare, well, etc.?
  15. Your friend could get a test online and have it taken in the comfort of their hotel room in LA on the 15th, 16th or 17th. Just another possible solution 🙂
  16. I believe that this is rolling out in February with the new dessert packages, etc. 🙂
  17. In case of doubt, I would err on the conservative side: If I thought it looked like I could do medically observed OR a home one with a picture of the result, I would do the Optum/emed observed online because the bottom line is that it's their playground, their rules as far as getting onboard and when you get to another country, like Australia, it will be THEIR playground and THEIR rules for letting you in. Travel safe and happy friends🥂
  18. The military "premium for plus" ends on January 31 according to the PCL agent in Guest Services who had to go into "current Promotions" to find it and read through it the other day. She also said that you have to be verified through the same program that verifies first responders, teachers, etc. and that you must be current military (I am not sure of this, just repeating what she says that she read).
  19. I'm fading away? Hardly! We'll stay on the line that we love and dress up as we please, but we also won't judge those who don't . We can do us; they can do them.
  20. It happens when part of your journey is on local/regional flights that do not have the option of premium economy. Example: We are going to Australia next year and one option for (that we didn't take) had two stops, and one included a two hour flight without a premium economy section. At 6'2", DH isn't going to enjoy 17+ hours of flying with ANY of it being standard economy, so I kept looking 🙂
  21. Thank you for posting a wonderful GSJ, especially finding it was done with Covid. You're both in our thoughts, and we wish you a speedy recovery!
  22. The other "caution" is refare versus rebooking. Example: refare is where they just lower the fare of your current booking and everything stays put. For a rebooking, they cancel your current booking and do a whole new one at the new rate; thus all old incentives (OBC, etc..) go away; also, if you'd booked EZ Air, it would be cancelled, and you'd have to rebook at a potentially devastatingly higher price.
