  1. I haven't seen a white party in years. Sometimes there's a white night, but hardly anyone dresses in white.
  2. It's been like this since the new menus came out. That said the menu that would show for your cruise is NOT the menu for your cruise anyway. It's the menu for that ship's current cruise. So if you really need to see a menu, view that ship's current sailing.
  3. I've enjoyed them, but it's nothing different than you'd get at Red Lobster
  4. I've met plenty of pinnacles staying in suites. I met a pinnacle couple once that all they book is the Royal Suite and nothing else. I've also met pinnacles that always get interior rooms.
  5. I snag a time in the app, then go back in when it's convenient via the website to finish the check-in.
  6. I've never had issues with above deck noise in a GS, other than the DJ occasionally. But no foot traffic noise.
  7. You can take back as much as you want, at least for what CBP cares. The only issue is if you opt to declare anything over the allowance. TSA has a rule of nothing over 140 proof, but I don't know how they'd enforce that.
  8. Even tender priority is only worth it if you have a reason or desire to get off the ship ASAP
  9. Never do this with prescription meds on the concern that luggage gets lost or damaged. If you have meds that you want to carry discretely, just put the bottles in some smaller bag in your carry on. Then just make sure that carry on isn't going to have something else in it that would likely get flagged on an X-ray for manual review. In the very unlikely event that your carry on has to be searched at the terminal, they'll be looking for what caused the X-ray to alert, not what's in your pill bottle.
  10. Not just people being frugal, but there are plenty of beverages (brand and flavor) that people like that aren't available on board, too.
  11. RC won't let you sign up for an account (which is then needed to log into the app) unless they are 13+
  12. Either take a corkscrew with you or just bring a screw cap bottle. That way you don't even need to ask.
  13. Search engines are powerful tools. Especially for questions that have fixed answers and aren't going to be opinion-based.
  14. And people who leave those kind of reviews knowing they're sailing an older ship are like people that go to a steak house and complain that they can't get chicken nuggets.
  15. I really encourage people to do research on their own first.
  16. It's a basic, bare boned messaging app with a feel of your everyday text message app. There are notifications but they rarely are sent.
  17. Ship is always the last thing I look at. Price and itinerary are my first two criteria. If it's an itinerary you like but isn't served by your preferred class of ships, then take a chance on it for the experience of those port stops.
  18. If you don't get it within 30 days be sure to call. They'll ask you to email a copy of the letter you received onboard. Then they'll issue the fcc on the spot, though it takes an hour or two to be used on a reservation
  19. I always assumed the stewards kept them for their own cabins
  20. Same. By mid-cruise we tend to have the cooler stocked for the rest of the trip
