  4. I am really enjoying this trip report, thank you for doing it!
  5. I totally do this too. Mainly with bathing suits, I always start the week off with 2 pieces and tend to do tankinis & one pieces by the end of the week. It's 100% the bloating that is an issue for me, probably from the higher sugar intake, I do let myself have something with added sugar once every day on vacation. As long as I feel back to normal within a few days of returning home I am happy, but no matter what I feel thicker by the end of a travel week. It's never actual weight gain, I think it's more a travel/out of routine thing.
  6. I ordered an NA on Horizon week before last and they brought me a Sam Adams Just the Haze. I snapped a pic to remember it for home I thought it was really good. This was just bar service coming to loungers on deck 10.
  7. That is what ours said too, and we were told when we boarded Horizon it was not ready and we could not drop bags off. Maybe we should have went anyway, but I'm not that type of person, with no signage and someone verbally telling me no access I just waited. Which was no big deal at all.
  8. I was sent an email 3 days before our cruise telling us our suite would be ready upon boarding. When we actually boarded we were told our suite would not be ready until 1:30. It was a little disappointing for sure.
  9. Yay it's my favorite local trip reporter! And this time I recognize faces, so that's pretty cool! Our kids went to school for a while with Lucida and Derrick's. I'm also thinking you may go to church with my aunt and uncle. Such a small world, excited to read the rest!
  10. Thanks for this, I am taking my Mom on her first cruise on the Magic in May, so this makes me so happy!
  11. I adore Bogg bags. I have a large one I use for beach trips I drive to & for my son's baseball games. I love that I can spray out sand/dirt/clay. They come with see through pockets that snap onto the holes in the bag. I have flown a few with them, as my personal item. I just snap multiple pockets into the bag and store all of my loose items in them, so when I lay it flat under the seat or into the screening basket nothing falls out. Then I add a packing cube to the middle with whatever items I want with me. My mom bought the simply southern version and it does not compare IMO. All this being said, when I flew with my broken in bag I had no trouble. Our most recent trip to DR I used my brand new one and one of the straps kept falling off my shoulder at the airport, and it irritated me enough to consider just doing a backpack the next go round and my packable beach bag for the pool/beach. Yes, they are sturdy. I weigh mine down with entirely too much stuff in my daily life, a couple bottles of wine would be no problem. Whatever you do, don't buy them from Amazon, the price is usually double. They are a little pricey, but one of the things I find worth the price as my first one is still going strong after almost 3 years. I'm not sure they are the most fashionable things I have ever loved, but I really do love them anyway lol.
  12. Happy Thanksgiving, I am really enjoying your review! I'm a 79 girl myself so a lot of your posts have hit home lol. Have fun, thanks for sharing!
