  1. https://eatsleepcruise.com/discovery-princess-bar-guide-with-menus/ this site has a link to the various bar menus.
  2. So true. I hope one day to be offered a free cabin.
  3. I am only gold level and tend to play more table games than slots, but I am by no means a high roller lol. I play the lower tables ($10 usually) but do tend to sit for a couple hours each night. My preferred game is Ultimate Texas Holdem but will sometimes play blackjack or 3 card poker. I got an offer a few months ago and was able to snag a mini suite on the Discovery for $599 pp (before taxes or perks.) Not sure I did anything special to be sent offers.
  4. Thank you so much. This is very helpful 🙂
  5. @JeffT237 Is the red circle where the tender dropped you off?
  6. Can someone tell me where the Princess tender at Santa Barbara drops you off? I'm looking at Google Maps and it looks like it could be near Stearns Wharf/Pier Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara Landing, or Point Castillo......maybe none of these lol. Just trying to get an idea of what I might do for the day there and where I'll be able to walk to. TIA.
  7. My issue with this argument is the ships were sailing at 25%-50% capacity at this time so not really a fair assessment. I agree with the others that talk about Celebrity Cruises—every Celebrity ship I’ve been on, the casino is very crowded each evening and often times I can’t find a table with an open seat.
  8. Can you use excursion credit as OBC with Norwegian? Princess allows this and is a nice perk if you don’t take any excursions.
  9. My favorite Hawaiian island. If I ever win the lottery, I’m moving in 🙂🙃🙂🙃
  10. Well that is a big difference lol....guess she doesn't like the term...I would just call her "snowflake".
  11. Here is a link to all the drinks at Good Spirits at Sea. https://eatsleepcruise.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Discovery-Good-Spirits-at-Sea-Menu.pdf
  12. Thank you for the info. Guess I will need to make my way there a couple times. I may have to try the vanilla sky drink.
  13. I’m sailing on Discovery in March and I’m looking at previous patters. What is the “Good Spirits at Sea - Cocktail Experience”? I see it listed a couple of times a day. Do they do something special? TIA
  14. Omg I’ve been on 9 cruises and I can’t believe I couldn’t figure that out 🤷‍♀️ I’m feeling dense today lol.
  15. I agree. I just really want to get an idea of when the majority of activities are so I can make sure my dinner reservations are at a good time. I’m so excited for our March sailing.
  16. Do you know how soon before sailing the app is populated with activities?
  17. Roxie even if you could save the patters and then scan and post after you get home would be great. I’ve heard Wi-Fi is not great on Discovery and it may not be possible to post pics while you’re on the ship. Appreciate anything you can post for us 🙂
  18. I would love to see these too. Hopefully someone embarking today sees this post.
  19. I’ve been following along and it’s so sad to see the ship pulling back into port and your trip ending. Hope you all had a great time—my husband and I board her at the end of March.
  20. Found this at the bottom of the T&C page: Best Sale Ever offer expires: March 1, 2023
  21. Anytime @Desertliving--I am like you where I am researching everything I can about the Princess Discovery (I take my first cruise on her in March 2023) and thought I would share what I've found. I'm really excited as she will be the newest (and largest) ship I've been on. Thanks @sirclean for confirming the menus do indeed look the same as you had.
