Haven't been out of Bayonne in 4 years, but have been out of PC twice in the last 13 months and only saw them near Customs booths.

That's the first thing I thought when I read that post. The facial recognition machines are only in the terminal as you exit the ship, not where you check in.

We don't get the fresh squeezed. Tried it a couple of times and thought it wasn't very good. The free oj offered is pretty good. But, even if it was something I have at home all the time (it's not as oranges themselves is better for you than the juice) I could go days without it, just like other things I don't have while on a cruise or vacation.

Normally it's night 2 and night 7 on an 8 night cruise. We've done over a dozen cruise out of Baltimore on GR and EN and it's always night 2 and then the next to the last night (so night 11 on a 12 night, night 7 on an 8 night). Who said tomorrow is another formal night?

Our TA (good friends) purchased flowers for us in April and they were beautiful. They tried again in July and Nov with no luck as they were no longer available. April and July we were on EN and Nov we were on Jewel.

We were slightly delayed between our b2b on Jewel in Nov. It was for 4 people. They took us off after waiting a bit and we had to stand in the terminal for about 20 minutes while they found them. Personally, I think they should charge per minute if they're not in line ready to get off within a few minutes of when the last groups are announced. It's not just other cruisers they're impacting. It's the CBP, terminal employees, crew, etc.

Duh. It was all a joke. But there is a lot of data out there about seniors. You are very defensive about life in FL and in an area of seniors. Relax.

More than likely someone with a similar or same name triggered something. It's why they were confirming your identity. Global Entry means they don't have to. Global entry can be revoked if someone does something in the future that makes them a risk.

Only because some group decided to hijack it.

We have friends onboard and they just posted a picture of the pool deck. It's icy and gee, no one is in the pool.

Someone on FB posted that the ship had entered the Bay around 8 pm which is within an hour to an hour and a half of the normal time. We've cruised in and out of Baltimore about 13 times. To be in Baltimore by 2 am, the ship would have entered the Bay a lot earlier than 8. Someone on FB posted that the ship arrived on time this am, so not 2 am. Anyway, now everyone gets to spend tonight at the pier.

It's a symbol of hospitality in New England also. But, not upside down.

Aw, come on, you can't just leave it at that. I always wonder how people approach others on this topic. It's not the type of thing that just comes up in casual conversation lol.

I have never in 17 years of cruising heard of this happening. They can say it's random, but that doesn't mean it was. It would be such an enormous waste of time and resources to do this randomly. It's the kind of thing they do when they suspect someone is smuggling in contraband. We have a friend who is CBP and he has told us a few stories. It's amazing what some people try to smuggle in and we're not talking drugs. Lots of animal and agricultural products.

I saw the original post from the woman from Aus. I didn't see how it ended, but the post I saw was her trying to figure out how to get her passport sent to her in FL for the cruise. I will say, don't just stick it in an outside pocket on a bag or in a pocket on clothing. Put it inside a bag, preferably in a zipped pocket. Even between showing it before security and showing it to check in, ours go in my bag and it is zipped shut, or they stay in my hand.
