  1. ^ Deck 13 - The smallest aft-facing balcony depth. For BA/GA, Aft-facing Haven Suite configuration B (bathroom with a view) is on decks 9, 10, 12, 13. For BA/GA, Aft-facing Haven Suite configuration A (bathroom without a view) is on decks 11 and 14.
  2. That configuration is not on deck 11 or 14 with BA/GA.
  3. Alaska was being considered even before Covid-19. It could still happen in the future. Explora Journeys will be there.
  4. Nobody at the port will even notice the check-in time.
  5. I saw the following a few days ago on a travel agent site but I didn't know if it was legit.... "MSC Cruises is excited to advise they are extending Voyagers Club card benefits until 31 December, 2023 for cards expiring between October 2022 and April 2023. Voyagers Club members will have the unique opportunity to keep their current membership level and continue to receive all benefits. This is a great moment to book your next cruise and choose the destination you’ve been dreaming about. Book any cruise sailing between 1 November, 2022 and 28 February, 2023 before 30 November, 2022 and Voyagers Club members will receive 700 extra points credited before their departure. This is on top of the 5% membership discount to assist guests in upgrading their membership level faster."
  6. The lack of adequate sound-proofing between staterooms could be something that NCL deals with on future ships. Layout and location of certain things could be improved.
  7. If the OP decides to change, some more info here..... * The free cruise change is applicable either on the cruise dates or on the destination. Such change needs to be performed up to 1 month before departure, for a new cruise to sail within 3 months from the original departure. Any cruise change shall be requested through our contact center.
  8. Cool. I hope you enjoy. I'm also booked on Seascape but not until summer 2024.
  9. Which experience (Bella, Fantastica, Aurea, Yacht Club) did you book with MSC? Many NCL cruisers might not be familiar with MSC's experience structure. With NCL, dining options are pretty much the same for everyone other than Haven. With MSC, when, where, and with whom you have dinner with can change based on experience level.
  10. Is the app active before the ship is officially handed over? I honestly don't remember.
  11. Does your expiration date include the extension that MSC already gave?
  12. Ship is still under construction and isn't "active" as far as the app.
  13. No matter what NCL does regarding vaccination status, testing, masks, social distancing, capacity, etc., there will be some people who will like it and some people who will not like it. There is no protocol that will make everyone happy nor is there a protocol that will guarantee that nobody will get sick. It's up to the individual to decide if they want to cruise with NCL or if they don't want to cruise with NCL. All that I ask is that NCL gives adequate notice of changes (when possible) and gives booked guests a fair and reasonable option if a guest decides to cancel.
  14. What I was told was that the spot under the keypad (where the numbers are) is where the YC wristbands would be used if the system was active. It would still work the same way as far as selecting the desired destination but the summoning of the elevator would be expressed if the system was in use.
  15. You forgot smoking locations, children in Yacht Club/Haven/Retreat, chair hogs, butler usage, nickel and dime, bait and switch, buffet line-cutting, drone usage, tattoos, loyalty status bragging, dropping step-grandchildren out of windows.......👎
  16. When I was on Seashore, the Priority Elevator feature wasn't active. I've used it on other ships but it didn't happen on Seashore. Even when it works, it isn't always better than standard elevator service (Meraviglia). On Seaside, certain elevators worked better than others. Consistent inconsistency....MSC. 😉
  17. "Club Balcony Suites provide additional amenities and privileges at no additional cost. Amenities include the option to pre-book onboard entertainment and dining as early as 125 days prior to sail date, complimentary treats delivered to your stateroom, a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, and a choice of one valet laundry or pressing service." - LINK
  18. They are separate. You order what you want from the pasta section then order what you want from the secondi section (only 1 from that section).
  19. I've done similar. I booked a sleeps 4 for only 2 people because of bed location and balcony size. Once for an angled balcony and once for a larger than standard "secret" balcony. I had to call but it was no problem. As a side note, it seems that most people don't want a connecting stateroom unless they specifically try to book one. When people ask about a specific stateroom, I usually try to warn them if it is connecting.
  20. For some ships, the sleeping capacity will alternate between 3 and 4. If someone is booking as 2 or 3, there will be "gaps" as the booking engine will skip the "sleeps 4" staterooms. If people are booking as a group of 4, the "sleeps 2 or 3" will obviously be skipped. What happens is that people in one group will book a connecting stateroom and the one connected to it will be empty until someone in the other group books it. Try doing a mock booking with the other group as your number of guests. See if any available connecting staterooms match with the group number that you currently have. If you find a match, have either a PCC or travel agent book that pair. They can book 2 or 3 in a sleeps 4.
