  1. Typically you can be off the ship before 8AM, especially if you have priority debarkation. But that is not a hard and fast rule. Lots of factors can affect that. What time is your flight, assuming that is the reason you're asking?
  2. It was offered on the Magic on my Labor Day cruise but I don't recall what the name of the cruise director was.
  3. Celebration will always be Terminal F. You may or may not be allowed to park in the "closest" garage, it may be full and you'll be directed to other parking.
  4. Evaporated water would be distilled yes, but they also add chlorine and elements to the drinking water supply. So while the water that comes out of the tap in your room is evaporated, it is no longer pure distilled water.
  5. The mental gymnastics of telling yourself that buying gift cards and keeping track of them on a password-protected spreadsheet and never getting that money back is "so easy" boggles my mind to be honest. Whatever works for you.
  6. More likely, they are testing different price points to see what their clientele will bear. If you're booked on a cruise where Chef's Table is only $90 and you have thought about doing it, book it NOW because it won't be $90 for much longer I bet...
  7. Right there with you but there's no use shouting into the void because as you said it'll never happen. I imagine a time 25 years from now - nobody smokes anywhere on the globe except in Carnival's casinos. They will be the last holdout on the planet.
  8. Really the same things you'd need for any other vacation. Don't over think it. There are plenty of blogs online where people write 5000 word essays on what they pack for their cruise that were probably written by Chat GPT, complete with dozens of Amazon affiliate links to the useless crap they recommend.
  9. If you need it for a CPAP or other medical reason, you can bring it onboard with your medical equipment. Otherwise you can call room service once onboard and buy it by the gallon. I do not know the price, guessing probably $5/gallon.
  10. They're really hiking the prices in a hurry, wow. To me the Chef's Table is a nice experience but it is not worth that price for a typical cruise. Anniversary cruise or something like that, maybe. Each to their own!
  11. https://help.carnival.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3490/~/locations-where-you-can-smoke
  12. My hunch is the only way you're going to win anything on those scratchers or pull tabs is the second chance drawing.
  13. The cruise should be pretty much the same as any other.
  14. Carnival is teetering very close to the tipping point where their reputation will be unrecoverable. They have to clamp down with zero tolerance before it's too late.
  15. Same story on Magic in September - the only place they actually seemed to care about people smoking was the non-smoking casino annex. Everywhere else was fair game. My stateroom smelled like pot when I embarked and there was a burn spot on the spigot where they tamped out the roach.
  16. Carnival will show all the games they have a license to show - easy answer is if the game is on ESPN, you should be able to just ask the bartender to show it. Games on other channels are less likely that Carnival will buy the license to show it unless it's major like the Super Bowl. They don't show any NASCAR events for example as they are never on ESPN and they don't buy the license for it, not even the big races like the Daytona 500. You can get wifi in Grand Turk in a few places if the game will be on while you are in port. Wifi on the ship is subject to a lot of variables so I wouldn't count on being able to stream the game. Basically don't buy wifi just for that because you might be disappointed.
  17. It really is better if you just leave your trash behind, the crew have to sort it for proper disposal. They recycle as much as they can, etc.
  18. These email addresses are no longer accepting incoming email outside of Carnival. On embarkation day, the maitre'd will be available in the main dining room (check the Carnival app/Fun Times or ask a member of the crew for location and time if unsure) for dining arrangements. Or, if you're on Facebook and enjoy putting all this information out in the public on the internet, I guess you can ask John Heald on his Facebook page as well.
  19. Goldfish grow to the size of their tanks.
  20. It really is as simple as talk to the maitre'd during embarkation - there isn't much else going on onboard at that time anyway, so it's not a huge burden. People make it more complicated than it needs to be.
  21. Those email addresses are no longer monitored.
  22. There is no email address to contact them. If you've linked your bookings together and have the same dinner sitting then you can be seated together, subject to the size of the group vs. the size of the tables they have in the dining room. The Maitre 'D will be available in the dining room on embarkation day for any questions.
  23. You know it gets me thinking. A lot of people consider things like internet, gratuities, soda, etc as part of the cost of the cruise and just pay for them every trip. Maybe it makes more sense to go on a line where all that is already included. Sort of like with airlines - Spirit is really only worth it if you can fly with a backpack. If you need to add on a chosen seat, carry-on bag, etc., you might as well fly Delta. Similar with Carnival in my experience.
  24. Not me, I used to buy gift cards for trips (Disney, Carnival, whatever) but lost a $250 gift card once. The company was able to replace it, but the experience was stressful enough that I just save my shekels the old fashioned way and pay off the credit card once it's over.
  25. I would never expect Carnival's Miami facilities to be at their knees because a Conquest class ship was late. Celebration sure. Shocking...
