  1. Tips are going up, cabin serviced once a day, limited staff in venues We have done mainly RC and Carnival-trying our first Celebrity in March. Think all cruise lines going thru cuts and changes
  2. We will be coming of the Odyssey of the Seas and then onto the Celebrity Beyond-both of us are Elite-will we each get a bag of laundry and the 90 minutes. Thanks Looking forward to trying out Celebrity
  3. Allianz yearly policy-covers any travel over 100 miles from home. Less than $500 for 2 for the year. Great customer service as we had to cancel policy when covid hit (can cancel within 10 days of getting policy).
  4. We were originally on the Magic so went in like I wanted to print luggage tags and it showed what cabin I was in. Very similar cabin. Hope this helps
  5. Thanks so much for your prompt response. It was very helpful. Are the ships always at Pier 18 and 25? I can verify the week before we leave. This will be our first time on Quantam class eventho just reached Diamond on RC. It will also be our first Celebrity cruise. So looking forward to both cruises. We are doing back to back on the Mardi Gras in Feb-so making up for some lost cruise. Have a great holiday.
  6. We are doing the same RC Odyssey and the Celebrity Beyond cruise side to side next March/April-were you able to get any type of transportation from Odyssey to the Beyond? Wonder if it is walkable. Was told to check at guest services as they sometimes have crew vans. Can't wait for the trip. Enjoying your reviews
  7. We are doing the same side to side next March/April-How did you get from one terminal to the next. Some have said to check at guest services regarding transfer. Thanks
  8. We were switched from the Magic to Venezia Our PVP said and change in port fees/taxes would appear as OBC
  9. I went into Carnival.com and my Magic cruise wasn't listed. So I added my booking number and it brought up my cruise. I went to print luggage tags and found out my room. It was an adjoining on deck 8-was able to change to non adjoining thru my PVP. Go to cruise planner and make sure cruise booking is listed otherwise add it and should bring up room Best of luck-feel like this hasn't been handled the best
  10. Going on the Odyssey of the Seas next March 25 till April 2 and then getting on the Celebrity Beyond from April 2 till the 9th I believe we will have to go from terminal 18 to terminal 25. Is this walkable? Or are we better just doing Uber Thanks
  11. We have done 35+ cruises and this was the fastest embarkation ever. From the time we dropped our bags with the porters till we were on the boat was about 15 minutes. Had to retake photos but other than that just kept walking. We were on the boat about 10:45am Booked our shows and then did muster-so easy. Lunch in the Windjammer was ok. Food lukewarm. A definite trend we found Waited till 1pm or so and able to go to cabins-we had balcony on deck 10-10696 bed by the balcony. Twice a day service and kept very clean. We had been on Allure class ships before so very familiar with lay out. Captain Rick kept us in very calm waters considering Ian was going to hit Fla during the cruise. Aqua and Ice show great. Comediennes were ok. Wish they mixed up shows more. Our ports were St. Maarten (shopped/bars), St Thomas (ferry to Water Island then Honeymoon beach) and Cocoa cay (first time there) We had 84 degrees and smooth water all cruise We had MTD and I had sent RC an email to make a reservation-was able to have standing 7pm at table 692 with a great team of Pierre and Frances. Made sure food was always hot. Had very 'poopy' shrimp one night-chef made another plate the next night. On lobster night several of ours were mushy and tasted like iodine. Nothing in Windjammer at breakfast was hot-my gripe for many years-except the fried eggs. Wish they had an omellette station All in all great cruise. Felt good to be back on the water-first cruise in 3 years.
  12. Just a FYI SAS only picks up from certain hotels in FLL which are listed on there website they do keep in contact with you both pre and post cruise This is a shared shuttle so may have to make stops at other cruise lines so post cruise if time is of a concern prob taxi/Uber
  13. We did Alaskan cruise a few years back and Loved it. We left out of Vancouver which also was very disorganized. Like you we had no clue where to drop bags-being that there were two ships in port we didn’t know if the bags would make onto the right one-but they did. pour cruise ended in Seattle where we stayed a night, then took the Sky train back to Sea-Tac-very easy and prob cheaper than Carnivals transportation
  14. Premier offer suite $1000 casino cash drinks all over for about $130/p
