  1. We sailed on the Breeze in April. Emailed about 2 months out, was told it was booked. No mention of waitlisting. We boarded, then saw the table with someone standing there. I asked about Chef's table, was told it was sold out. She put my name on a secondary list. That night, by 11pm, we had a confirmation for our Chef's table. I guess a lot of people cancel. But, find the sign-up table when you board and give it a shot!!

  2. We were on the Breeze in April, and we booked Magic for next April. The Lido was DEF busy on sea days, but we could usually get a seat or 2. I think the most frequent "too crowded" issue we had was for dive-in movies. And Pizza line after the first movie. We are super excited for the Magic!!

  3. We are booked on the Magic next April. I have been looking at Vista in '18 and it already seems like it's slim pickins for the Vista. We are going to try to find something on the Vista, but in the end, for us it's all about the ports. We really want to see St Kitts and that group sometime

  4. We were on the Breeze in April, they had extra items from 11pm to 1am. It was lasagna, maybe a salad, and a sandwich that rotated evry day. My fave was the chik parm sandwich!! They only had it twice i think, theu also had an italian sausage sandwich, it was ok. There was always a big line after the 2nd movie was over, think i maybe waited 15 min one night. I also got some extra sauce on the side, they keep it cold so i had to assure them it was fine, but i like extra sauce. Pizza Pirate, like everything else on our cruise was FANTASTIC!!

  5. I grew up watching Love Boat, thinking how cool everybody was and all the awesome places they went! Now that I'm all grown up and I've finally started cruising I just wish i could have partied with Julie and Doc! She loved coke and he got all the women.... now that would be an awesome cruise!! Oh and that pirate themed bar they had, sooo 70's!! Second only to The Regal Beagle!

  6. We were just on the Breeze and it was totally booked. We had the balcony gaurantee. We got one of the balconies directly above the BBQ. I mean, literally, the blue awning was directly below our balcony. I ate breakfast most mornings on the balcony, had nothing but gorgeous views with my salmon and fruit. The occassion when i was in our cabin during the day, i may have been sipping friendly juice, so it gave me a chance to chat people up that happened to be walking by. At night, it was quiet and peaceful. Definitely not noisy. We just booked the Magic for next April, i wanted a cove, however Committee shot that down. We got a spa balcony. My parents had one one the Breeze with us last month, it WAS really nice. I will get a cove balcony at some point, but the gist is, you will be fine with a balcony on 6.

  7. We were just on the Breeze. The partitions on both sides of our balcony(6433) were able to be open. Ours want latched because they had washed the deck down that morning. Room steward has the tool to open the divider. Have fun!! We booked the Magic for next April....

  8. First off, sorry you have to get back to reality, keep drinking, maybe they will let you stay!? To be fair, it didnt work when I tried it either.

We sail next saturday. In the Domincan Republic, did you a ship excursion? Or did you wing it? I read about the bus the will take you to the old rebuilt historic site and was only $7pp, wondering if that was still running, and if anyone tried that? Also, how's all the side food? Not the MDR, Seaside bbq, steakhouse or italian but the Tandoor and Iguana and sushi, we are closet foodies, so we want to try all of it. And actaully, i am going to try to assemble some monster franken-burger creations.

  9. Other than the 16hr drive home, the worst part for me is the agonizing struggle of trying as many different drinks as i can in a day. And still function, reasonably. Like ole Joe Walsh said, "I go to parties on the Lido, sometimes until 4. It's hard to leave when you cant find the door!" :D

  10. Good morning. Sooo I am collecting as much last minute info as i can and need some assistance from some previous Breeze'rs. Is there a "hidden" or hard to access front observation deck? If so, how do you get there? I have been studying deck plans and pics but cant aeem to see one. Thanks.

  11. Hey there, sooo i have been checking at least 3 times a day for FTTF to come available but nothing as if yet. This is only our 2nd, so my question is, is it too late and they probably wont open any more spaces? Or should i keep trying? I appreciate the guidance.

  12. John Heald posts the months movies the last week of the month before. He did ask a question recently if anyone would be interested in seeing star wars.

Ok, i'll bite. Where, does he post this? As in, facebk or carnival homepage? If fb, to which page?
