Why are you asking here? Shouldn't you be calling AARP for an answer?
-
How far from the tram to the Tap and Still brewery? It sounds like a great combo.
-
How far is Callwood from the cruise port? Is it difficult to go there as a standalone trip?
-
RCCL does offer a shuttle to Fanuil Hall. In 2017 it was $20 found trip.
-
Are there any liquor stores near the pier? Also, does the Pusser store sell rum?
-
The ships are just too big to fit any more.
-
There are two stores there by the port. You should find them open when you return.
-
Will you be in other ports like San Marteen or St. Kitts? The prices are just as good. Will you be docking at the main port of Crown Bay?
-
They is plenty to do in Halifax on a scooter. As long as you dock in the main port, you exit right onto the board walk which is over a mile long. There are a few mini malls which are very scooter friendly. There is a brewery right across the street. Make sure you get a lobster roll and a bear claw.
-
My wife uses a scooter too. Make sure you book an accessible room. The scooter can not be left in the hallway, it has to be kept in your room. Not all standard rooms are large enough to handle it.
You can sit in the theater in the last row. They have spaces allocated for the handicapped person and their guest. The Windjammer has tables with an accessible sign on them. If a non handicapped person is using them, just tell the head waited and he will ask them to move.
For tours, the web site indicates it it is accessible.
Ask if you have any questions.

Does the Pussers rum store have a distillery tout and does it sell rum there?
-
Keep in mind the new RCCL rules. No more than 12 bottles per person. They must be in your carry on. It will be confiscated from checked luggage.

I humbly apologize if my answer offended you in any way. I was responding to the author of this thread who said their children are three and eleven. Again, I am sorry.
-
To be honest your children would get nothing out of it.

We had ten inches of snow last Sunday and three last night. That's why the price is so low. Weather happens.

Thanks for your advice. My next five cruises are on RCCL. FYI, I'm Platinum on Carnival so I have seen enough of their casinos to know what I'm talking about. Three of four years ago it was never this bad.
-
The smoking situation is the worst I have encountered on a Carnival ship. My lungs actually hurt when I got out of there. It was so bad that I saw casino employees wearing masks. You would think that their newest ship would have a better system to remove smoke. I guess Carnival doesn't care.

Spectras Cabaret is one of the three regular shows. It's on every cruise.
-
the price varies by port, length of cruise, and type of equipment, and whether you want insurance. Figure at least $300 for a scooter. It is best to check the web site or call for a quote.

for breakfast and lunch the Bistro is a slimmed down version of the Windjammer with less crowds.

The Horizon rocked at the Pan American pier last year.
-
I have always brought off soda and water and never had a problem. Most cruise lines actually sell beverages as you leave the ship.
-
I believe there are two in the Windjammer, one on each side.
-
And I was on in January on a 12 night cruise and there was always room. And everyone knows that the longer cruises have more diamond plus and above.
What to do with 5 ships in port and only there until 2pm

Thanks. Just what I wanted to hear.😀
