  1. Wow. I just paid $7.50 for mine. We just got an upright freezer and I am going to pick up a few more for later. My husband likes to put one on the smoker.
  2. I am excited already. This is what we are hoping for on our trip. Thinking about our favorite cruises they have all been to scenic, cooler climates. I may need a warmer coat and new long underwear.
  3. I didn't think the metal roof was very noisy, but I love the sound of rain and it was always nice to get rain in Texas since it didn't rain that often.
  4. When we lived in Texas we went with a metal roof. It fit the style of the house. We also beefed up the insulation and it made a nice difference in the cooling bill. Here in Florida we went with replacing the shingles since I didn't think metal would look right with the house. So if it fits the style of house you have I would pick metal.
  5. I will keep an eye out for those excursions. Right now they have changed our ship to the Jewel and nothing is in the cruise planner. I am even more excited because we got a better cabin for a lot less money.
  6. Thank you. This gives me some good ideas. Were the tours you took ship tours or independent ones? Was the RIB boat a ship tour? Sorry you were ill the last day.
  7. We have a cruise similar to the one you took. What excursions did you take?
  8. In March we were asked about the shot but it didn't matter what you answered.
  9. I may not need as much but on a vacation where I want to have fun and enjoy myself I want a lot. Lol
  10. You travel your way we will travel our way. You don't see it as a value we do. There are other benefits we enjoy that I am sure you can pick part as not what you would do either. My money, my choice as how to spend it.
  11. Because the drop offs are waiting in our room. We don't have to wait for the luggage. In warm weather I put a swim suit and cover up in my carry on. As soon as they open our room we change, head to the pool, grab a table and a drink. I bring my knitting and that is how we spend our time until we need to get ready for dinner.
  12. Like a lot of things on cruises what one person enjoys another person doesn't. We don't get a drink package because we are diamond and that includes enough drinks for us. I don't see a value in the art auctions etc. We do anytime dining and may eat at a specialty restaurant occasionally. A cruise can be tailored to how a person likes to cruise. Fyi - the carry on we drop off is not items we want control of it is full of my knitting projects, a book a sweater and tractor magazines for my husband. The things we carry to keep busy while driving or flying and in case I get cold. I have a small backpack for those items.
  13. It is worth it for us for the following reasons, but we watch and get it for a little over the voom price. Early boarding - not getting up at midnight to check in and get a good time. Drop off of carry on items Quite lunch - the windjammer is busy Voom for both of us. My husband uses WiFi calling to check in with a friend of his in poor health. I like to stay in touch with my son. Tender access if needed Last morning not crowded breakfast Escort to bypass lines and easy to find luggage
  14. No. Just the one child. Lol. The wedding was last Friday in my back yard. I think I need a month of just knitting to recover. Lol
  15. That is a really nice baby blanket pattern. If I bring a beaded Boo to work on it is for when I have a table available. The last cruise I worked on Mariner (not a Boo) with Sirley Brian yarn. Super easy to travel with.
