  1. Usually there are self peddle and ebikes right at the tender drop off .... but you would want to be there early before taken by others.
  2. I'm Going to say this again ... though some people have been able to book more than one specialty reservation (one for each specialty restaurant) when boarding the official policy for the 10. 11 and 14 night cruises in one reservation in each of the specialty restaurants when you board and you can return halfway through the cruise and book again ... it really depends on the passenger load. If the ship is near full the official policy will likely be in effect ... if your lucky enough to make more than one in each of the specialty restaurants when you board good for you ... 16 trips on the PG ... enough said.
  3. Cruising past the Le Tahaa Resort which is right next to the famous drift snorkel on Tahaa ... Mount Otemanu on Bora Bora is 13 miles away ...
  4. We go to FP on a cruise at least 3 times per year ... maybe someday.
  5. I normally don't give my personal contacts but I know your not on the same cruise as I am .... so hopefully you connect with her ... We've known her for almost 30 years.
  6. Email Ghislaine ... she is a taxi driver on Moorea. gmahotu@gmail.com Give her a day or 2 to respond.
  7. Lovely Motu Mahana on the island of Tahaa. This is the BBQ fun day that PG puts on.
  8. Beach is nice but on the smaller size ... About 3 1/2 - 5 miles to the Hilton Some taxis but not many ... if you get one to get you to the Hilton make sure you pre-book for the same taxi to come and get you 😉
  9. Entering the lagoon of Rangiroa. I've been to several places within the lagoon ... but make sure you visit the 'Aquarium' if you have limited time on the island.
  10. Zipping along the lagoon of Bora Bora. Bora Bora is all about the lagoon. If you have only one day here make sure you take an excursion out in the lagoon. Mount Otemanu sits in the background of this picture ... from every angle of the lagoon the mountain looks different ...
  11. Thank you for the kind words .... Star Breeze in: October 2024 April 2025 June 2025
  12. Enjoying the day on Motu Mahana (Tahaa) Looking forward to visiting Motu Mahaea which is where Windstar takes their guest on Tahaa.
  13. Did I say the sunrise/sunsets in French Polynesia are incredible ... taken on the pool deck with the mascot mermaid.
  14. I'll keep it going for awhile longer ... hopefully others will enjoy and learn a tip or two. Getting up early to watch the sunrise has it's rewards. Sometimes the Capitan will glide into the lagoon of Bora Bora at night ... when you arise this is your view ... imagine enjoying this view with your first cup of coffee of the day.
  15. I have 3 cruises on the Star Breeze in 2024 and 2025. Your on the sailing ship. Have a wonderful time. I go next in October on the PG.
  16. No on making reservations prior to embarkation. After boarding go to Veranda and ask for the head waiter ... he will take your reservations for both places.
  17. Not much love on the thread/pictures. I've tried to give a bit of info along with the picture to help others with there planning ..Think I'll let it rest for awhile.
  18. Taken from deck 8 on the Paul Gauguin ... another beautiful sunrise.
  19. Taken from the Northwest side of the lagoon of Bora Bora ... this is where my vendor feeds us a nice BBQ lunch. Mount Otemanu sits in the background.
