The way I understand it The $18 pp pd divided up for wait staff/housekeeping pool $5 extra PPPD go to the Butler pool I believe several people reported they tip their butler extra We often give the housekeeping cabin staff an envelope with some extra $$ with a note of thanks

You could ask to have your reservations " linked" Most lines will try to seat you together but do you want to dine every night together or just a few? I would ask ahead of time for the larger table Enjoy the cruise 73's

I have bid for BIZ class a few years back on Rouge closer to the date maybe a month out I just keep checking what seats were available then when they start to fill up make a bid Make sure you do not overbid or you may as well just book now We did get the upsell but no seats together this was from Florida so maybe Chile would be harder to get the upsell Also watch the sales sometimes they offer a cheaper price for non refundable BIZ We did R/T AMS & took the lie flat seats it was not cheap even for non refundable but well worth it to us old folks YMMV

Well I do not have a problem putting my card on the table at the end of the meal but it appears others do

Until all the pre booked cruises with O life perk are done or they make everyone switch to SM they will be asking for your room card

Lucky you As Canadians we often have our passports held by the cruise lines they return them & that is all that matters YMMV

It might depend on how much your SM excursion credit is & how much the excursions you want cost you can use the Loyalty OBC to book more excursions maybe a higher value than just what the O Life ones were We are not big drinkers but have no trouble using the O Club OBC YMMV

A few years ago we were in Bermuda passports were collected then we picked them up before going ashore You had to show them getting on/off the ship in Bermuda Maybe still the same now

Not useless unless you choose not to use it Maybe a cooking class or a nice bottle of wine (not included in SM) gift shop purchases
