Depends on the cabin. Some cabins on Sunshine didn't have nightstands and the lamps are on a rail behind the bed. Some do have nightstands with lamps and I imagine are plugged in under the bed.

I suspected, but don't know that security at the port would know that. I might come up with a different name/description. Or at least be prepared to answer if they ask or try to confiscate. You might contact the special needs department and ask them for advice.

Yet occupancy rates on cruises are way up even with testing. 69% during the 2nd quarter of 2022. Summer is the busiest season. For now. At some point pre-cruise testing may disappear. Maybe masking will return. Who knows?

You used to only have 30 days to transfer bookings. Maybe that is still the rule. If you cancel, Carnival, as well as the TA, might assess penalties.

I think they have salmon more than anything. Sometimes tilapia. Occasionally barramundi which can be good. First formal night I see striped bass. But who knows what they really serve.

I have yet to pay for a covid test, but all don't use Walgreens or CVS. All you have to do is cough or (pick a symptom) and it should be covered.
