I might ask in a current cruise Splendor roll call. In the past I've cruised on Splendor in Southern and Northern Europe, around Cape Horn, and through the Panama Canal. Made it home late Thursday. Got to the Parking Spot and the remote for my vehicle did nothing. Terrific. But I keep spare batteries in the glove box. The remote does have a pop out sort of key so I could open the driver door, but then a new battery didn't improve things. The vehicle battery was completely dead. Thankfully the Parking Spot has a ginormous wheeled jump starter (and compressor!) that they brought out and promptly got the vehicle started. It seems fine now, so I'm not sure why it was dead, but will find out sooner or later. Ordered for next trip - portable jump starter - check!
