    One time we had one made FOR the matre d' (his assistant was the co-conspirator in this case) (it wasn't his birthday or probably the right age).

    Tell the maitre d' what kind of cake you want and offer to pay for it. Something that will make the other cruisers jealous. We've done that before.

    You can, but be careful if you leave the terminal. Traffic and construction can be a problem getting back to the terminal. Allow plenty of time. I wouldn't plan on early boarding. I would plan on many people showing up before their appointment time.

I didn't see anything in the ticket contract that permits them to do so, though.

    It really doesn't matter, because Aruba is a distant foreign port, so you could leave the ship in a different US port.

    You are wrong. Port charges are much less than $100. In the past, when enough people complained, Carnival decided fine, we will only refund port charges, and kept the goodwill offering.

    Bingo. I usually check the mini-fridge temp, also and starting to check outside temps.

    Our cabin was in the 60s our entire last cruise. It's been a long time since we've had a cabin that we considered warm and never anything approaching 80 degrees.

    The Beef Wellington I had at the cooking demonstration on Carnival Glory was exceptional! Glad they gave me two!
