The Royal Caribbean Blog (royalcaribbeanblog.com) posted an article with short Caribbean/Bahamas sailings.
There have been lots of questions on what ship would be sailing the 3 and 4 nighters to Coco Cay and Nassau. This post confirms that Allure of the Seas will sail this itinerary from late April 2024 through through the end of January 2025. I don't see any sailings from Feb. through April. 2025. I wonder when RCI will post these cruises or if another ship will be sailing this itinerary.
Chops is a better experience -- kill 2 birds with one stone: 1 --Make UDP reservations for the cruise and have a nice lunch in Chops while waiting for our rooms to open up.
Thanks -- we're doing a back to back on AL in November, 2023. The price for a GS was good and we may try this again or just do a 4 night. Just like the Oasis class ship and Coastal Kitchen.
My daughter Amanda did that when they did a family cruise on Mariner last year. They would order drinks and she would go into the DL and get hors d'oerurves. She and Josh were Diamonds and the boys had the soda package. Now all 5 of them are Diamonds as the boys got their status from Mom and Dad. We may do the same thing. I love the views from the Viking Crown Lounge.
I think RCI is trying to have Pinnacle Lounges when Pinnys exceed the maximum. They used the Music Hall on Wonder and had a nice spread but very few people used the lounge. .
Goombay Splash -- it's not frozen but I like it. Coconut Rum, Kraken Rum, fruit juices with pineapple and cherries. I think it's a drink that was introduced when RCI returned to cruising.
Does anyone have the Cruise Compass for the 4 night Independence of the Seas and if so could you please post a link. I'm especially interested in Day 1.
We will be boarding Independence early as we're Pinnacles. We will go up to Deck 11 and go to Chops or Giovanni's to make our reservations. Do you think it will be easy to get a table for lunch after we're done?
Thanks Pat -- it sounds like the Pinnacle count may 50ish to be kicked out of suite lounge. I wonder how many Pinnys will be sailing on a 4 nighter that departs on Memorial Day. We had to change from 5-21-2023 Wonder to this cruise.
