  1. Michael Bayley is CEO for Royal Caribbean International (RCI) Jason Liberty is CEO for Royal Caribbean Group (RCG) -- includes Celebrity and Silversea as well as RCI. Michael and his staff at Corporate HQ are pretty responsive. I've always had answers to my emails. That being said, I email when it is an issue that can't be resolved elsewhere.
  2. They are adding parking in anticipation of Allure sailing form PC in November. We could see the construction when we sailed on Indy a few weeks ago. I think they will be adding about 400 spaces in the first round and then an additional 200 in the second round. Also the other RCI ships like Mariner (being replaced by Adventurer) and Jewel sail from another terminal.
  3. A possibility -- especially if RCI send Wonder to China (she was built for this market)
  4. Neither do I -- overpriced and very oriented to famines. However, we may sail on her if my kids and grandkids book it and it's out of Port C. It's possible that a sister ship could come to Port C. We're doing a family cruise on Wonder later on in the summer. The Next Cruise Consultant on our recent Indy Cruise said that Townhouse Suite on Icon has some weeks selling for $130,000. If someone wants to pay that price, at least it helps Royal Caribbean pay their Covid-caused debt.
  5. We enjoyed our Indy 4 night cruise a few weeks ago. It was so much like the Freedom that we cruised on about 17 times that it brought back memories. We did the Unlimited Dining Package, which we've never had a chance to do before, and enjoyed it. Booked everything at Chops as soon as we boarded and they treated us like Royalty. Had two lunches at Chops, the Hibachi Dinner that was really fun (reading that Utopia will have a multi cuisine restaurant in that space), Giovanni's which was excellent and two great dinners at Chops. There aren't as many restaurnat choices as an Oasis Class ship but it was still great dining.
  6. I can appreciate your loving that location. I was in a CL in a similar location on Harmony last year.
  7. Indy's Next Cruise Consultant told me that Millennials prefer short cruises as they don't have to take as much vacation time. One factor driving this market along with Disney putting their newest ship, Disney Wish, on this type of itinerary out of Port Canaveral. We'll probably continue booking B2B on Oasis class ships that sail the Bahama's itinerary in suites if possible. .
  8. Carlos Flores is the Suite Concierge on Independence. Great Concierge. He even cam to the Pinnacle Breakfast on chops to invite P's to the SL as there were only 9 Pinnacles on our sailing.
  9. I was surprised that I didn't see Captain Johnny's tweet as I follow him on Twitter.
  10. I'm looking at Starboard side GSs on Wonder for next year. Like in the 1750s 1760's and 1770's. It looks like you have to walk toward the elevators and then come down the portside hall to get to the SL and CK. Will probably still book on that side -- really a first world problem 😂.
  11. Looking at the perks, I wonder if Sky JSs have access to the Suite Lounge.
  12. We're on Allure in a GS on Deck 9 this fall and have also sailed on Harmony on decks 9 and 10. The elevator seemed a bit inconvenient to get to the Suite Lounge and Coastal Kitchen. I was in a CL on HM and loved having CK and the Suite Lounge just steps away. We did use Chops for Pinnacle Breakfast and liked the GS's proximity to Central Park. If Utopia is similar to Wonder, the Suite Sun Deck will be in the Suite Neighborhood.
  13. I guess you get the Sky Class benefits but are not in the Suite Neighborhood. Convenient location for activities.
  14. Does anyone know what deck or decks the Sky Class JSs are on? I think on Icon they are on Deck 6.
  15. Nothing is showing for me via RCI website. Has anyone seen availability and pricing for GS suites and also dates other than November 18. We are looking at December.
  16. Thanks for posting. I hope his treatments are very successful. We've sailed with him many times since 2005. Great Captain.
  17. I'd be interested also.as we're sailing in a group of 9 On WN in August and might want to do a Specialty Restaurant as a group.
  18. Thanks for creating this topic. I research all large groups and try not to book during one of their weeks.
  19. Following -- my grandsons are Diamond based on their parents' status and sailing on one cruise.
