  1. Although it doesn't, I'm positive it will. 😄
  2. I didn't realize it created such a problem.
  3. That seems to be a common problem. Never again for us. We learned our lesson.
  4. I'm not into those loud parties. It's just to much for my ears lately.
  5. Just another "special" night to encourage people to spend more money, I suppose. 😄
  6. Why don't you just remove the cheese before eating it?
  7. On the New Years cruise they made it a separate night from either formal night. Still it wasn't a big thing and if you weren't aware of it from reading it printed in the patter, you'd never know it was anything special.
  8. At this point in time it really doesn't make much difference what time you select but someday they might enforce time boarding as a normal thing. Just in case, as others have said, it begins at around 60 days prior to your cruise.
  9. You're getting cheated. Try harder.
  10. I wish Princess could serve a dinner that quickly. It seems lately it's usually at the 90 minute mark & longer in some dining rooms.... and this is at a table for 2. 😕
  11. From what I'm hearing entertainment is one of them.
  12. Lets hope the levels of formality don't include different levels of food quality or selections as well, or it'll be back to the same old arguments at the DR door.
  13. That newness of the first time cruiser will soon wear off. Let them enjoy it while they can.
  14. It wasn't me, that's for sure. I couldn't care less what people choose to wear in the DR provided it doesn't reek of sweat. I simply go to the dining room to eat dinner, not to parade around in a costume for others to gawk at.
  15. You've got that right. If you want to keep a seat at MUTS, you better have a partner to guard your spot when you go for a bathroom break or use Depends.
  16. Or what? It seems to be working fine as it is right now. It allows for everyone to tailor it to their choice.
  17. If I asked my husband to wear a gold bow tie for dinner he would probably have me committed or tell me to go on the cruise by myself. 😅 I see it as just another gimmick for Princess trying to make money on an idea they've thought about. Forcing people to comply will be as effective as a wearing a tux or gown on formal nights.
  18. It's happened to me quite a few times when they reach the bottom of a bottle.
  19. Like it or not, Princess has changed from the formal cruise line that it use to be in order to survive. Expecting a cruise line to remain stagnant just to fill the desires of what has become a minority, isn't going to happen. In this transitional period they now are being lenient about accepting everyone dressed as they choose. Either accept what they've become today or move on to a cruise line that better suites your desires, like P and O, Cunard or Seaborn.
  20. When they had a White & Gold night on our Enchanted cruise it wasn't a big deal and few people were actually dressed for it. Maybe as time go's by & it becomes more common place it'll be more popular, but I certainly won't be buying a special outfit for it.
  21. Yes, it a one for one swap. Not exactly a fair trade but that's the way they do it. i.e.- One small bottle of liquor for 1 bottle of water or 1 can of soda.
  22. There are a few people on this board that seem to crave attention on formal nights. Most of us just want to be left alone to eat in peace.
  23. No. Unfortunately only the alcoholic drinks can be switched for non alcoholic ones.
