  1. Most of the reserved seating I've encountered wasn't "up front" but a level up in the center section. They were for friends & relatives of the production crew and not for Premium guests. I'm guessing that they'll be in a similar location.
  2. I'll be on the look out for those reserves seats on our next cruise.... not that I'll be sitting in one of them. It should prove interesting to see how many seats they reserve.
  3. It goes in the general OBC pot and can be used for anything on the ship. The way it's worded, it seemed to indicate it was specifically for excursions, but it's not.
  4. And not for the guest entertainers?
  5. While you really don't need one, it makes re-boarding a lot faster when you hit a big crowd early in the afternoon.
  6. They never have in the past although it pays to bring something (like a sweater) to lay on the backrest so people don't keep asking if your saving the seat for someone else.
  7. I believe Carnival cruises has just released a statement about playing loud music of your own on board. I doubt if Princess will do likewise since it isn't as much problem on their ships.
  8. The only way the re-boarding would work quickly, and board before other passengers, is if you had an in-transit pass from a previous cruise. Although at that time in boarding most of the initial crowd will probably be boarded so it shouldn't take that long anyway. Sometimes it pays to save old documents, just in case. 😉😁
  9. I quite often show up at that time & like to reserve a seat for my husband while watching a movie. There are always a hand of people who do likewise.
  10. It's usually held in the Vista lounge on the Enchanted. We didn't find it overly crowded.
  11. From what I've seen recently, the reserved seats for family and friends are all in the middle section, one section up from the lower seats. They're really choice seats. In addition to those seats they scatter handicapped seating all over the place.
  12. Right. I was only wondering haw many seats they'll now be reserving for both the new package plus additional for friends & relatives. It should prove to be interesting whenever it begins. From what I observed, people will have to make it a point to get there early to get a decent seat.
  13. They look good enough for any night.
  14. Yes, tips are supposed to be reported. 😁
  15. I asked and was told that those reserved seats were for family & friends of the cast members. What will the new reserved seating for the Premier package look like is anybody guess ring now. I'm wondering how many seats will be reserved and what location they'll be.
  16. Take photo's of everything in case they lose it which sometimes happens. Also know that expensive items can sometimes be shrink/damaged by their laundry service. Choose "cleaning" 0ver laundry for a safer service.
  17. True, but most people see to be on our list that do have it. Unless I'm on a ship I rarely use it but it's nice to have, just in case.
  18. We had one on a Royal class ship a while ago & except for what you mentioned, we thought it was better than a regular inside cabin since it had the dressing area & bathroom out of sight. If we were to be assigned another inside cabin, it would be OK.
  19. Aside from anything else we find the most important thing for us is it allows the crew to find you anywhere on the ship after you place an order for a drink or some food. You can't do so without it.
  20. I want to say yes, it's possible since there nothing from you getting the coffee to give to that person...... but you never know. I've always keep it for myself.
  21. We always arrive early so it doesn't make much difference, but I'll also be selecting the earliest boarding time as well. Although not really needed, it can't hurt.
  22. Good to here. That means that if you're Elite or in a Suite there's no need to select any time beforehand. Just show up at the terminal - whenever, join in line & proceed to board.
