  1. I think the Gastro Pub as it's own restaurant is only on Discovery. Some ships, such as Crown, Ruby and Emerald (I think all three) have it as an option in the Wheelhouse bar at dinner time.
  2. I've never seen them all post at once, so hopefully soon for you. And maybe another one in November? That would be nice.
  3. I just checked and mine were applied. Going into my points history, it did say 3 from the CEO webinar.
  4. After, on our 3rd cruise ever, DH couldn't find his black bag. He did find it with a group of bags for some large group. That was the last black bag he ever had. In 2015, the luggage tags came off his bag at the Red Hook port. Took about 30 minutes to find it. Then, on the way home from the airport we got a call from United that we had the wrong bag. We were about 15 minutes out so we turned around and brought the other persons bag back and took his. Now he always checks the luggage tag, even though we now have very distictive locks on them.
  5. Don't they take care of laundry, and emptying the mini bar? That's new for suites. Of course that's exactly what our room steward did when we weren't in a suite.
  6. Good luck. When we did ours, (Boston instead of Bar Harbor) we were each given a time to go, which were different. They said to come at the one we preferred. When we got there the line went to the front of the casino and then back around through explorers. They told us to come back in about an hour. We did, and it went from Fusion to Explorers, and took about 10 minutes. We'd had an excursion in Bar Harbor but not in Boston, so it was no big deal. That said, there are around 5-8 agents, so I have no idea, if they board a 11 how they'll get all the shore ex people through. Good luck, in any case, and I hope it goes faster than ours did.
  7. Like others have said, please bring this to someone's attention. That said, I generally don't do room service breakfast, but I almost always call the butler for coffee. At least half the time, they come in with a tray, and just leave it. Sometimes they pour the coffee before they leave it. And once our butler would come in every morning with what we started calling first breakfast - pastries, coffee/tea and juice, and set it up. That was one time. I do feel your pain. I think we had better service when my sister and I ordered room service on our first cruise in concierge.
  8. Here's what I decided is bothering me (not enough to cancel anything, though). When they first announced this, they said that instead of a dedicated butler, there would be a butler team. Seems to me that a room steward with extra duties and a head butler to maybe introduce themselves, is not a "team of butlers". A team would take care of room service, and the little extras most are used to. Now it appears we're getting the same in room service as people paying 1/10th of what we are. Am I missing something?
  9. Glad to hear. If you don't mind, please let us know when you get it. (Hopefully faster than the Ipad came back)
  10. Hi! You had quite the 2020 adventure. Some of these are on my bucket list, so I'm following. I don't get on a ship again until December, so will sail vicariously through your trip. Have a blast.
  11. Same thing on Celebrity, and at least I can see menus on the current Symphony cruise. X Apex (one I'm doing side by side) shows nothing on the current cruise.
  12. Good idea. My husband left his Ipad on an Air Canada plane arriving in Buenos Aires, and traced it to a lost and found in Montreal. It took a while, but they did send it back.
  13. Yeah, well on the latest update on both the RC and X apps, that option seems to have disappeared. Oh well, thanks anyway
  14. So, reading cruise critic finally after a week in Alberta, and found this. Glad you're having a good time. Our first Hawaii cruise was on the Sapphire back around 2012.
  15. I'm on the Symphony in December. No menu on the app, and I know where to look. Of course, I'm having the same issue on the Celebrity app.
  16. All we've been escorted to (sky suites) is generally one end or the other of the gangway. Never to the room. Which is fine, I know where they are.
  17. We did the Duck last time we were there. It was great. For those who don't do ship excursions, it's an easy walk from the pier, and you can save some money if that's all you want to do.
  18. So, now on Production shows, the Sky Suites no longer get the reserved seating? Aren't they still putting that in the benefit list? Not a big deal but still.
  19. We were in a Reserve mini - we did laundry 3 times, got them back in 2 days once, next day twice.
  20. Personally, I find this hard to believe, although she maybe hasn't heard any feedback yet, since she talks to people precruise?
  21. It was indeed. Today's update now includes the total points in the circle on the checkin page. Also if you click through, you can see the benefits for each tier.
  22. Yup. I'm on the Apex in December, and if the experience is not what I'm used to I will talk to Retreat staff and the Hotel director, etc. Politely of course.
