I feel like I've made a breakthrough at emril's. I'm enjoying my time onboard, but the crew on here are the exact opposite of friendly. I've been to emril's a few times now and the crew there are warming up to me. I wonder if they just see too many people to ever really get friendly? It's not an excuse for the cold level of service but just thinking out loud, I wonder if it's a byproduct of the large ship experience and not specific to the group working here. Maybe a little of both? I've never experienced this on Royal's Monster of the Seas.

Good morning from Emril's. I've been up for about two hours which is way too early for vacation but I guess I've got all the sleep I need after my 24 hours of rest the other day. I would have been out of the room sooner but my phone wasn't even fully charged. I definitely need a new one. Now I've made a mad dash to emrils to get in before it closes.

Back in the room and going to bed. Still not 100% and I'm hoping another night's rest will put some spring back in my step. Good night everyone.

I've never even heard of that but do recall the bartender pouring from a second bottle now that you mention it. It also said frothy orange in the description? Seemed like a normal orange mix to me but that could just be carnival using cheaper ingredients.

Turned up at the theater for family feud one minute to showtime and the theater was full. There were a few seats here and there and as a solo I had an advantage to the streams of groups still coming in but it didn't feel worth the effort for family feud. I don't like making reservations on vacation but it is a nessasary evil on a ship this big. They've gotta get with it and set up reservations for popular events. Who knew this was a popular event? I'll need to plan accordingly in the future.

I think my biggest regret will be not eating at emril's more. Attemptimg to mitigate that tonight with dinner at emril's. Tonight's specials.

Harvey wallbanger. Not sure I know what differentiates this from a screwdriver. Other than I feel 80 asking the bartender for a Harvey wallbanger.

I've been surprised at the lines for big chicken and lack of lines at the deli and pizza. Seems opposite of what I've been reading. This was my first trip to guys since I had no intention of eating here.

One more before I transition into something harder.

Today we are in Grand Turk. This is actually my first time here in nearly three years. Carnival Freedom is docked next to us. I have yet to sail her but am booked on her for 47 days next year.

Your welcome. The elevators are not Ada friendly. You cannot fit two scooters in one. You cannot fit one scooter in with other people comfortably. They will need to turn sideways. It has got to be tough on those with scooters. There are a lot of elevators but they are seriously very small.

It took 25 minutes to make it through the line. I really wanted that burger though so I dealt with it. Ringer. I asked for a tomato but was redirected to the toppings bar. If his tomatoes looked like those he did me a favor, old and slimy looking and I decided against adding one to my burger.

The app failed me. I favorited some trivia and expected a notification but it never came through. Next trivia is in 30 minutes if I can get through this line.
