We’ve had cruisers that have had medical issues, taxis or rental cars have broken down, car accidents, etc.
So, there are valid reasons, however, call port authorities so they can inform the ship.
Yes, I understand. We have cruised several times through the canal on Princess and as I said, I’m surprised they are not shown yet. We have had them shown about 9 months ahead, sometimes less than that. They may be working on them.
You can call the excursion desk at Princess to ask, but they usually don’t know and will say check again later.
Looks like the 10 night cruises for December, they may be working on the tours now. So, just keep checking. I would think soon?
The 15 night ocean to ocean has some open on it. So, that would give you a good idea of what might be available for your ports. I usually check them out and at least know if I’m interested in one of them. I’d then be ready to book it.
I’m surprised you don’t see them. You looked on the itinerary or on your cruise personalizer on the website? You book them on the website.
Here is a link for an idea of what is offered.

Just enter the port you are visiting to get an idea.
Maybe if you can say the ship and dailing we can see if we see it on the website?
That’s why we are given the port authority phone number at each port, to call if any issues or delays getting back to the ship.
It’s also listed on the App>Port Guides.
Day before sailing. I checked it every day! 😳
I saw it when I checked on it. Didn’t receive an email. I had printed the luggage tags and wrote the cabin no on the tags with a magic marker.
Yes. Check the box on preferences in the App. Not sure if they read that, but we had robes in our closet on Enchanted 3 months ago. Or, if not, just tell the steward.
A lot of references to Star Princess. I assume this was about Ruby?
Coffee? Did you have the International Cafe coffee, or are you referring to MDR coffee on both?
I’m really shocked that the crew wasn’t friendly or fantastic. I’ve found the crew on the Princess to be fabulous on all the ships we’ve sailed. To be fair, have not sailed Ruby. Just really surprised. JMO.
Thank you for the comparison.
If you have a QR code you’re checked in.
For Arrival groups, about 59 to 12 days before sailing…

Of course you can go to the Princess App>My Preferences > third page…dining pace and select. However, as mentioned, I’m not sure this goes anywhere?
Best to let your waiter know if you like a fast pace. Definitely, Alfredo’s/Gigi’s you would just tell them your preference.
