  1. When you get OB, I’m sure you’ll ask. They have changed and closed MDR’s for various reasons since the restart. It could be because of the guest load, since most of the ships have staff shortages too. May not be full. I’ve only seen CC in midship MDR’s also. But, they are making changes on the ships, and I’m sure many more to come.😮 Let us know.
  2. I thought we did resolve it? You overpay, it sounds like a credit back on the overage to the gift card, which you could check your balance on the website. Use it at a later time. Does not sound like it converts to OBC just because your overpay. Or, I think the better thing to do, is what @Shelly97060 suggested…. Pay the exact amount due on your cruise with your gift card…then take that GC to GS when your OB and have them post the balance in OBC.
  3. It does show your group now. It also shows your group letter, like A B C on your QR code. I was asked on one of our cruises last year if I was in the green lane, first boarding group. Yes, Sir. He Did ask to see my QR code. Not sure if he was new or an old timer?
  4. I did it again! Thanks for catching me. I just responded to @justafem. Didn’t even know I was off topic again. Sorry about that!
  5. A refund of days in isolation in FCC’s. PVP ins.
  6. Is that also the case for FCC’s given for covid isolation? Should not have to pay insurance on them? CFAR PVP you would not get them back in your account to use up until expiration date?
  7. If you were on an Enhanced Voyage, the wellness check would be available to upload covid test results 48 hours before sailing. The non enhanced voyages should at least do a wellness check or health questionnaire 24 hours before sailing. It asks … if you’ve had covid symptoms in the 7 days prior to sailing. They also ask those questions at the port. My future bookings all show an open wellness check link.
  8. Seriously? For 1,000’s of emails, in addition to solving problems? They need trainers big time and to empower more employees to handle customer solutions problems. Just taking a call and writing up a ticket is not a viable solution. I feel for those 4 employees. 😮
  9. Or, could they be designating it for CC dining? Or, the 360 experience? I guess you will find out soon. Let us know. Did they book anything for you? Or, did you have to rebook?
  10. Definitely a smart move, as long as the weather is not an issue, as far as driving. But, always a non stop, if possible. I look at the one way and roundtrip fares. With EZ Air I haven’t seen much difference for one way or round trip on the International fares. So, I agree it is better on a true b2b to book them as two one ways. Also, gives you a chance to reprice each one individually, if one goes down. Domestically, I haven’t found EZAir a bargain, whether OW or RT. I usually book these directly with the airline and/or use my miles. There is usually a little bit better price on the roundtrip. YMMV
  11. PCL goes through the airline for approval. We have priority with DL and UA and they do not charge us baggage fees. We only Pay the $25 service fee per person. We only check 1 bag each. You will make a note of that on your form that you return to GS. Priority , no fee for baggage check. They will verify with the carrier. GS will also print your BP and luggage tags, according to airline approval. You get those the day before disembarking, with instructions. Not sure about the orange tags though.
  12. Didn’t you have 2 policies? One for the outbound flight, which you already used? And… The 2nd policy for the return flight and b2b cruise? Why wouldn’t the 2nd policy cover your return flight?
  13. Or, if you need clean clothes right away, the launderettes are usually open too. If you need to do a quick load. Takes tokens, which you can get in the laundry room, by scanning your medallion. Also, goes on your folio.
  14. Including that of the gift card? So, you would just have a balance on the gift card, which there is a link on the PCL website, to check your balance. I knew your were out there…thank you for the reply!
  15. Sometimes it’s the equipment that changes, not always affecting the times or flight number, but could affect your seats. It’s good to check that also.
  16. They open at 59 days to 12 days before sailing. My last one opened at 59 days. It all depends on the port and their clearances. Just check it periodically.
  17. We are off topic, I apologize to the OP. But, they are discreet. I know from last month, due to friends in quarantine.
  18. If one person in the cabin is positive, they can go into a cabin on the quarantine floor, if the other guest is negative. Once the positive person tests negative, or on their 11th day, whichever comes first, they can go back to their original cabin. If they both stay in the cabin, then they may be given an option to remain in their original cabin. But, then the negative Person has to isolate also. So they need a quarantine deck.
  19. Do your seats through the airline website or App. They can get lost between EZAir and airline computer systems. Directly on the airline website is your safest bet. The numbers on EZAir are on your travel summary, which you find instructions of what to do for flight changes and your flight information and ticket numbers, once the tickets are issued.
  20. It can happen even with No Ugrade listed on the booking. Whatever program they are running, seems to miss some of those. A same category UG could be in a different area of the ship and PCL deems it a more desirable location or what I’ve seem more often is an operational reason for moving the guest’s cabin. Even if it is a no upgrade booking, operational reasons would override it. Sometimes guests are in the quarantine area too or crew/entertainers coming OB.
  21. I am going to give an opinion, even so.😳 If you overpay, could it go back on that last gift card as a balance? I bet we have a TA on CC, that would know! Sorry, just had to get my opinion in here while waiting for a real experience. 😆
  22. Is this recent? There’s no anytime or traditional dining any more. It’s all called DMW or Dine My Way. Did they change this on your sailing? Maybe Club Class dining?
  23. No opinion here. 😆 However, you say you key it in? Is this a booking you did yourself online?
