  1. They had issues with weather and disembarking in Valparaiso, Chile. They are refueling in San Antonio, Chile due to a port cancellation. They should still have a fabulous trip. We loved it, as long as the weather doesn’t get in their way again. Why don’t you read their roll call or email them?
  2. Loads of information on the British Isles forum.
  3. Arrivals groups are on the App anywhere 59 days to 12 days before sailing. You can pick one if you want, but if you have a transfer through PCL….they will determine which bus you are on. Just keep your flight details updated.
  4. Excellent point about using OBC and less insurance costs too, if waiting until OB purchase. Didn’t think about that.
  5. Same menus and very similar in decor and size also. We pick the one that is more convenient to our cabin.
  6. Discovery is still celebrating it’s inaugural. Is your sea witch the right color?
  7. You should be able to book a S5 category if it’s open. If your deposit is refundable then you won’t lose anything. Except any promos with the old fare, if any. You will get whatever the new promo or fare offers.
  8. I know. It seems to be a mystery. This was listed under their Headquarters Executives. But, we know things are not updated frequently. 😮 BTW, I have not received a call back or email from anyone at PCL since just after the pause in 2020.

  14. Did you ever get your refund from AON? If so, how long did it sit “In Progress?” Or, is it still sitting there? TIA
  15. 😂. We don’t need any self destruct buttons. I wouldn’t delete anything. The reregister or register button could set up more accounts. You don’t want that. The link button really doesn’t do anything. I believe it was meant to link your bookings, but it has caused problems also. The new booking usually shows up in tge Princess App in 1-2 days. Don’t touch it.
  16. If you see your reservation on the website, then give it a couple of days to populate into the Princess App. Do use the link button or reregister in the App as that can cause problems.
  17. Glad you found it Jean. I like this update the best. More clarity, if that’s possible..😳 lol
  18. 5pm is your best time if you’re booking a private table for 2. We ate at Davinci every night. On the first night, if you like the table, stop on the way out and tell the ladies at the podium, you want that table every night. It takes them a few nights to get the lines down. Maybe because people are switching around. The Crown MDR seemed overwhelmed the first few nights. We sailed about 70% full. We chose the midship MDR because it was more convenient to our forward stateroom. If you book at 520pm, you may not have a problem either, but just depends how many want tables for 2 and how many early 5 pm diners. There will also be those who are walk ups. You do wait in line, for them to check you in, but once they get the tables assigned, the ones with reservations will go much quicker. My advice on the Crown, make a reservation for each night. You can always change it once OB, if you need to. We sailed last month 28 day So Pacific.
  19. Was it for the 360 dining experience? Are you in a full suite? What did you have to do? I see Discovery is the ship. What did you tell them? If it was the 360 dining, it may have been legit. I’ve only heard of the invitation once OB. Maybe they are doing it ahead?
  20. Doug, I hope you recover quickly. If you use EZ Check, which let them know at Guest services about 4 days before disembarking that you would like to use it. DL does participate. GS will send your baggage tags and boarding passes to your cabin. So you won’t even have to bother. So be sure to ask when you get onboard. One tip: print out your eticket receipt from DL, as you will need this for GS to approve your EZ Check. Must show names, ticket and flight information. Get well soon…you have a ship to catch.
  21. It would have to be 2 transactions in order to do this. Cancel the old one. Book a brand new booking which will have a new booking number. Does your current booking have a refundable deposit? Also, check if the new booking deposit will be refundable, before you proceed. Also, if you have promos connected to the old booking, you’ll lose those. Compare those to what promos you’ll receive with the new booking. Any OB purchases, etc will be refunded, when you cancel and you’ll need to repurchase them in the new booking.
