  1. Any restaurants closed or SD? How many guests are expected for Nov 9th sailing? TIA
  2. We used PCL platinum insurance for our return flight, which was canceled and couldn’t get home for 2 days. It covered our hotel and meals. We rebooked our own flight with the airline and no charges incurred. It was NOT booked with EZAIR. It was a trip interruption.
  3. Who did you ask, if you qualified fir a casino rate?
  4. I have not seen full activities for any if my cruises. I’ve only seen a few sea day activities listed about a week out. We just check the patter or App once OB and decide.
  5. I emailed IT and asked what was going on. They said it was an outage. Don’t think so. They were probably reprogramming the suite bidding process and broke something else. Send a message to the IT team. Tell them the cruise/date/category and the error response. I found some cruises worked for all categories and some would give me an error for a suite request. A360ad7@carnival.com If you have a TA/CVP maybe they could book it or help.
  6. That’s great to hear. CB has such a great crew!
  7. It should be open. I’ve booked mine out to the end of 2023 on cruises. If you have a table for 8 and a couple decides on a SD, the can tell the waiter and the Maitre’d/Dir Food Ops. If you are keeping the same table/time every night, they won’t have to change your table to a table for 6.
  8. On the Emerald Princess 2021 according to a poster on CC.
  9. Why not send a message to Princess entertainment to ask if he’s still an entertainer for them? https://www.princesscruisesentertainment.com/contact Good luck!
  10. You would contact EZAIR. Always pribt your travel summary, if gives you direction if your flight has changed or cancelled, with whom to call and the phone numbers. Just before your itinerary on the travel summary.
  11. Yes you are. Contracts are being negotiated with United, American and Delta. They all want raises and better benefits. But, all the analysts are agreeing very unlikely to produce a strike. This always happens during contract negotiations.
  12. If you read the terms, it does say if covers trip delays, if you’re late getting to or from the ship. It also covers trip interruptions. And, if you can’t go at all, there is CFAR with Platinum. BTW, very unlikely the majors will strike. It usually is a bargaining ploy. Let’s hope anyway! If they did vote to strike, which is not likely, there, then is a 30 day cooling off period.
  13. Yes. Check with GS when OB to get the form. Not all airlines participate. I know DL, AA and UA do, as we’ve used them with EZ Check.
  14. You should show your traveling companions in your DMW area when you look at your reservation. If your TA/CVP linked the reservations when booked. Since they were just booked, you probably won’t show them. Once they are shown, you just click/select their photos in the DMW, and add them. IF you don’t see them. Get their booking number. Go into APP>travel companions>Add Guests. Add them. Sign out of App and back in. Go to DMW and see if they show up now and complete your dining reservations. The boarding groups are available anytime 59 to 14 days before sailing.
  15. Anyone know if the limit is still $40 bottle of wine for the switch out? Not sure there’s much of a choice.
  16. It may be related to the bidding process. It’s possible they are updating the website, which may affect current and future bookings.
  17. Scan your Ocean Medallion OM in the laundrette and get tokens. $3 each wash and $3 each dry.
  18. I really don’t think you should worry. We never noticed anyone looking onto our balcony. It’s never crowded and people walk on it in the beginning and it seemed very few after a couple of days.
  19. I don’t think that will matter. 2023 may be better, but no one knows. TA, Northern Europe and Iceland have been pretty difficult this year for the internet. You may want to look at the roll calls for the Norway, Iceland cruises this summer.
  20. Wouldn’t affect us.. 3rd or 4th entree? Wow.. SD…I’m surprised they didn’t raise those prices sooner.
  21. I think it’s very clear. If you read the Q&A. Tells you what you need to do if you self attest. UPDATED: What is acceptable proof of a negative COVID-19 test result? We require all guests to complete the OceanReady steps via the MedallionClass App to simplify the pre-travel process of completing COVID-19 requirements and documentation. You will need to attest you have received a negative COVID-19 test result and upload a photo to prove your negative result, provide proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status and to complete the health declaration. Once complete and all details & documents have been verified, you will receive 'Green Lane Ready’ status on the app, which you will need to present at the cruise terminal. Please ensure you have digital or physical copies of your negative COVID-19 test result and proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status to present at the cruise terminal. For guests who have completed a pre-departure Rapid Antigen Test (RAT): The guest must take one (1) photo which shows the guest’s negative RAT result next to the guest’s government issued photo ID; and date and time taken. The guest must carry photo of the negative test result (or have access to it on their mobile phone) and show it upon request at the terminal. For guests who had a pre-departure PCR test: The guest must have access to the text message received from the relevant laboratory or health authority which confirms the pre-departure PCR result; and show that text message upon request at the terminal. For guests who fail to carry evidence of their pre-departure COVID-19 test result or whose test does not comply with pre-departure testing requirements: Any guest: who fails to carry evidence of their pre-departure test result as set out above; or whose test does not comply with pre-departure testing requirements (for example: they had a PCR test more than 48 hours before departure or a RAT more than 24 hours before departure), Will be required to undertake a self administered RAT prior to entering the terminal. If the RAT returns a positive result, the guest will be denied boarding.
  22. I show $14.50 per person, per day for a balcony rate.
  23. Would be nice if the Enhanced Voyages were changed too. They do mention, if you’re on an Enhanced Voyage, to check the rules for that, they vary.
