  1. Are you leaving from Galveston? Seems those and some ships from San Pedro are really slow opening them up. Galveston is new and they have to work with the port officials for clearances. LMK when they open it. Interesting. If they don’t open it, just go at the most convenient time for you. Don’t stress. They have never checked my arrival time.
  2. Can you click on the PDF version of uour statement? My Fidelity shows my name and address on it. If you can’t , then call Fidelity they can help you find it.
  3. Medallion App Travel checklist Personal information and documents move down to Suggested Arrivals click on your ship select a group Now, it can be 59 days up to 3 weeks before sailing or less, depends on the ship snd the port. It has really varied lately. I just keep checking mine.
  4. I think this is a very smart business decision on their part. Should eliminate some of the CS calls.
  5. It is possible that a 14 is less than booking two 7’s. Most of the time it’s close in price, but you found a deal. Yes, the cabin availability is different, as they hold back availability for the different booking scenarios. So, it may change later, but far ahead you will see that on almost every sailing. Assuming this is FLL turnaround. B2b’s are given a paper a few days before the turnaround as to the specifics that day. You will meet in a group in a MDR, usually on deck 5 and after the ship has been cleared of all passengers through security….a PCL agent will lead you off the ship through customs and back OB. You only have to take your passports and medallion with you. You can go ashore, if you wish. Get off with everyone else and do customs. They will give you a transit card, which you will show when you reboard with the new guests.
  6. Sorry you’re having issues. It really sounds like the Medallion App team needs to correct it for you. If you’re not leaving for a while, don’t stress over it. Also, sign out of the App and sign back in. Try shutting down your iPhone and then back up. May correct some of the minor issues. As far as the CC status, I’d send a message to A360ad7@carnival.com Request their help updating your Captain Circle status on the App. Tell them all you have tried and what the issue is. Make sure to include full name, ship and sailing date, booking number. If your account shows the correct status, then honestly it should show up correctly to those on the ship. But I understand.
  7. And if the client DOES get upgraded, does the TA get notified? My record did have No Not Upgrade and I did get upgraded and they were NOT notified. There must be dome kind of glitch…AGAIN.
  8. Okay, makes sense. Probably recheck next week. As long as the sirline is showing your flights… you are booked. So, that’s good. Once they update the cruise port then, it should show up again on the travel summary. Valparaiso is nicer anyway. They were striking and slow with the cruise lines a few years ago in Valparaiso and the cruise lines said, hey we have to have dependable service or we’ll go to San Antonio and they did. So, now probably staff shortages and back to Valparaiso. Make sure to use reliable transportation from Santiago to Val. A lot of scammers there.
  9. They may be making updates on that cruise and it reads too soon to book EZAIR. They did that on one cruise of ours until they finished working out the airline rates. Then, they opened it again. Did you look at your travel summary on the cruise personalizer? That should reflect what you’re booked on with EZAIR. If you’re not showing anything, you may want to call EZAIR desk and ask what’s going on. If it shows on the travel summary, then I’d give them a little time to open the EZAIR back up on the cruise.
  10. Yes you should download the UA App to your phone and check that flight periodically on the App. Make sure you pick your seats on the UA App too. It’s a good idea to make sure UA has your email and cell phone number for any schedule changes. And opt in to notifications on the UA App/website too. No, it is not ticketed. Once it’s ticketed on UA, you will see ticket numbers on their website. You will also see your ticket information on the Princess website under cruise personalizer-travel summary. After final payment, you have up to 45 days before travel to change EZAIR flight if it’s cheaper, that’s great. They used to ticket after the 45 days, but it seems they have been ticketing a lot later now and on some of these posts they missed the ticketing deadline. I’ve not had a problem, but I’m going to watch mine very closely.
  11. I think it’s really dependent on convenience now. We pick midship if our cabin is forward or Aft DR if our cabin is Aft. Menus are the same.
  12. Yes, thank goodness. Fyi: It would be in the history of the original booking. But, we have to guess their ticketing deadline must be about 30-24 days out. Take care and stay safe there.
  13. Could also be a block of rooms for a large party or group. Agency may have a hold on them.
  14. That’s too bad. They would care if hot ashes came back into a cabin.
  15. Are you traveling with others whom have made final payment? How far are you from final payment? Princess rules states bidding to start anytime 5 days after final payment and onwards. I’ve seen it before final payment when other members of the party had paid for their cruise ahead of final payment. So, yours may be totally different.
  16. You should have been the one to give a dirty look!👀 That’s dangerous to smoke on the balconies. We reported one before, because he was there every aftn and evening smoking and flicking the ashes over the balcony. We couldn’t use the balcony. There were several cabins that complained also to GS. So GS checked it out and no more smoking. Voilà..
  17. It has been reported by a few posters recently and have been calling the IT team and getting a ticket to fix it. One issue, if the App is wrong CC status, then it wouldn’t allow the 50% discount for the internet. On the App you can also click on your photo and it shows a sea witch with your color or check the MedallionNet and see if it shows your 50% discount. Unless you already ordered it.
  18. I really don’t think it is because of the bidding. You didn’t say how far out? We love CC and it’s to their advantage to sell them upfront and if they become available after final payment or up to sailing time, get that revenue back by the bidding process. If you’re trying to book within 90 days of sailing, then there could be bidding going on or they may be sold out. Seems a lot more popular during these covid times.
  19. Susan, you’re lucky you got your flights back. Did you ask UA what day it was cancelled? That is in the history of the booking. Would love to know, as that would tell us what their ticketing time limit is with PCL. That is crucial. Because if we know that, we can make sure it’s ticketed BEFORE the deadline. Each agreement may vary with the carriers, but a good idea. If you call UA for any reason, please ask. Did they give you a new booking number for UA, or keep the old number? TiA Prayers for you guys. Stay safe in FL!
  20. Maybe someone in the IT team will correct it. It may still come in the mail with the correct color. They usually arrive about 10-14 days before sailing. But, when you arrive at the port, don’t bother going to the checkin area, just go through the green lane, if there is one and onto the ship. You can stop at GS anytime and change it. Really only a few minutes. Would be interesting to know if it arrives with the correct color. LMK
