  1. Yes, just got the same notification logging into the Personalizer. I started a thread on the topic a few minutes ago.
  2. We were already planning to do so, but it's now required. We just got a notification logging into the Personalizer. A negative covid test is now required before the the land portion of our Alaska cruisetour. We fly out June 25th. Website protocols not yet updated, but would expect that to happen soon.
  3. Hopefully ours will show up in the next week. We're now at 29 days. As far as the riverboat and gold dredge combo, it's listed as one 7.5 hour excursion. The two booked separately are 3 and 3.5 hours. I'm guessing the extra hour is travel time between the two. So probably not much time in between.
  4. We've given up on trying to complete it ahead of time. Tried the app on both Android and iPhone. Tried the website. Same issues. Just not worth stressing over.
  5. We've done the same on our last few Royal Caribbean cruises. We were a bit disappointed to not find something similar for our upcoming Alaska cruise with Princess. Still debating on a 10 picture package, but after previously having 80 - 100, 10 just seems meh.

  8. Would like to hear from anyone who has been on a cruisetour beginning in Fairbanks, especially this year, about how far in advance you received your Fairbanks hotel assignment. Our tour begins in 29 days. Unless I'm just not looking in the right place in the Personalizer, we still haven't been assigned a hotel. I know it is most likely going to be the Riverside Lodge, but if it is going to be elsewhere, we'd like to know as soon as possible. We have a non-Princess tour booked for the first full day, and would like to relay the pickup information to them as soon as possible.

  10. No email, to my knowledge, when the ticketing happens. I can see the ticket number for our outbound flight on both the travel summary in the Personalizer, and on Delta's website. Keeping an eye on United's website. Assuming the travel summary will also be updated when it happens, but not positive. This is our first experience using EZ Air.
  11. We fly out on June 25th for our Alaska cruisetour. American cancelled our return flight back in February, and it was finally rebooked, on United, in early May. Received updated flight info on May 6th, 50 days out, and outbound Delta flight was already ticketed. We're now at 32 days, and the return flight still hasn't been been. If that doesn't happen in the next few days, I'll be on the phone, and hopefully not banging my head against the wall. Lol
  12. Doesn't this booking fall under Cruise With Confidence? It says here, for all bookings made through May 31st, so it should. You can cancel up to 30 days before you sail under this policy, and get your penalty back as a Future Cruise Credit. Then just use the FCC to book the cruise you want, and pay any difference.
  13. I would be interested to know when northern Europe and the British isles will be released for summer '24. Or to be precise, cruisetours of the same.
  14. I understand his confusion. I have the same questions. You posted a section of the FAQ with the heading "Do testing requirements differ for cruise or cruisetour itineraries that begin in Canada?" (bolding mine). Princess has cruisetours on the east coast, that begin with a land portion in Canada. You are assuming that the same will apply to cruisetours on the west coast that begin in Alaska. It would be helpful if Princess posted something specific to Alaskan cruisetours, so that we don't have to make assumptions, based on information that may or may not apply. Our southbound cruisetour begins June 25th, and to date, the only guidance we have received from Princess, is that they will not be able to provide disembarkation testing in Vancouver. Unless we receive specific information from Princess beforehand, we plan to get tested before leaving home. We would rather be safe than sorry.
  15. How long until your trip? American Airlines cancelled our return flight back in February. It took until last week for EZAir to book us on a new return flight. They were aware of it the whole time; click "Add or modify flights" would say out itinerary had been changed and would be updated "shortly". Not exactly crazy about it, but options are limited at this point. Am happy they finally took care of it.
  16. Are you on a prepaid or very old postpaid plan? I thought most (all?) current plans included both Canada and Mexico. I know ours does. We're on the lowest tier unlimited.
