  1. Yeah, that's where I was looking. Cruise isn't until October, so planner probably isn't fully fleshed out.
  2. I'm only seeing one single device option in the planner. Can you call and ask for a 2 device plan, or do you have to wait until you are on board?
  3. The new adult only Hideaway Beach also requires a fee.
  4. Reading the rest of the thread, I see that is not the case. The glitch must have a glitch.
  5. I guess those of us who booked with a TA don't get to enjoy the glitch. My booking doesn't even have a payment option. 🤷‍♂️
  6. In our younger days sure, it would have drawn us. Now that we are older, not so much. We've always been surprised that Royal doesn't have more options late, for those who do wish to eat late.
  7. Are you sure you aren't confusing Coco Beach Day Pass and Hideaway Beach Day Pass? On my October sailing, I show Coco Beach at $274 and Hideaway at $65, which seem more in line with your numbers.
  8. Tried deleting the number as others suggested, but then it would not save. It kept freezing witht he progress bar at about 80%. I was about to give up, then I saw your post and that worked! Thanks for the help everyone. 👍
  9. I noticed a few months ago that my account was showing Pre-Gold and 0 (zero) points on the website, when it should be Emerald and 66. Cruise history is correct. I assumed it was just a glitch, but it never corrected. I emailed Crown and Anchor at crownandanchor@rccl.com back in October, but never got a response, and it's still wrong. Thought maybe after we booked a cruise last week it would update, but no. Anyone else had this issue? I didn't come up with anything relevant on search. Is crownandanchor@rccl.com still a good contact email for them? The number I have for them 800-526-9723. I'll probably try calling when I have some free time. TIA
  10. We did it once, several years ago. We others have said, it was better than sitting in the airport for several hours. We made two stops when we did it. One at the 9/11 Memorial and another at Rockefeller Center, which was mostly for the restroom, but we did have time to sightsee a bit.
  11. Had zero problems using the app on my Android phone back in June. Whoever told you that does not know what they're talking about. Both versions have bugs, by the way. 😉
  12. I just tried a mock booking to see the current price of our 2025 Norway cruise, but after inputting the 2nd guest info, it did not ask if we wanted insurance or transfers. Was that some sort of glitch, or have they changed something?
  13. How long ago was this? We were on Carnival Glory for the October 1st sailing out of New Orleans, and it was all Pepsi products. Much prefer Diet Coke over Diet Pepsi, but I survived for one week. 😂
  14. On board the Grand this summer, we were told we could drop our bags off in our rooms when we boarded. It was around noon. Our steward was actually finished with them, and the doors were closed, but we didn't stay. We had just sat down to lunch at the buffet when they announced rooms were ready. It was about 12:30. On board Carnival Glory earlier this month, we had "faster to the fun", which allowed us to drop our carry-ons in our room. The doors were still propped open, but we didn't feel unsafe leaving our carry-ons behind. Stuck them in the closet and headed to get some lunch.
  15. Actually chose a cabin on Deck 9 (Dolphin) that's on the bump. Deck 8 shows sold out for most categories. I guess that deck is fairly popular.
  16. Thanks for the input. For what it's worth, we rebooked on the Sky. Had a mini-suite on Emerald, but those were a bit pricey on Sky, so opted for a standard balcony. Looking forward to the trip.
  17. Didn't realize that was even an option. Is it available on all sailings? Will have to look for it next time.
  18. We were on the same timeframe at Hubbard last summer on the Grand. We had no problem making our 5:40 dinner reservation that evening. The glacier was well behind us by then. There was still plenty of scenery, of course, but that is true of the entire voyage. Impossible to see it all, which is why we've done it 3 times, and plan to do it again in a few years. 😉 No, dinner and show times are not adjusted later. There are early and late performances of most shows, however. The nonstop scenery continues into the passage between Vancouver Island and the mainland. Again, impossible to see it all, but any time spent on deck is well worth it. HTH
  19. The problem with booking hotels through Princess is that they charge per person, not per room. So it costs significantly more than booking the same room on your own. I understand the convenience, though. We did it last summer at the Captain Cook hotel in Anchorage.
  20. Currently booked on the Emerald for June 2025, but recently realized they also have a similar June 2025 sailing onboard the Sky. Our previous Princess cruises have been on the Star and the Grand, both to Alaska. Now I'm wondering if we should change to the Sky, for a different ship experience, or avoid it for Norway for similar reasons to avoiding the Royal in Alaska. Thoughts?
  21. I can't imagine going to Norway and not including those ports, especially Honningsvåg. In fact I've only looked at itineraries that include it. While I've wanted to take a trip to the top of the world for years, an episode of Mighty Cruise Ships a couple of years ago finally sold my wife on the idea. It featured Holland America, but we chose Princess. Over 600 days out and I'm already excited about it.
  22. I chose the Carnivale because it was our first cruise, and our honeymoon, way back in October '91. Took us 32 years to get back to Carnival. Currently onboard Glory.
  23. We're actually looking at taking our first Celebrity cruise next fall. Most of our 10 cruises have been on Royal Caribbean, but we've also sailed Princess and Carnival. All of the major lines seem to be making these kinds of changes. We don't consider ourselves "loyal" to any particular brand. After all, their loyalty begins and ends with your wallet. 😉
  24. What time will your husband's conference end on the 9th? Surely there's a late flight out of one of the NY airports that would get into Orlando that evening. I don't understand the "has to fly American" comment either. Why? If the cruise is that important, book your own flights on whatever airline is available. 🤷‍♂️
  25. Are they just restricting speeds, or are they actively blocking other sites so you will pay for an upgrade?
