If you read the post that accompanies the word "turkey" you would see what o.p. was writing about.

We all did. The comments were about what we thought the post was about when seeing the one word title in the list. smh

not funny. not clever.

Wasn't really meant to be, it was what I thought when I saw a subject that said nothing more than "turkey." What I found funny was that several other people had similar thoughts on seeing that subject line. (same answer to your other two posts)

Work has been crazy this week so I have missed a lot of action! I am finally off the next couple days and will have time to catch up. :) :) I'm missing my periscope friends!

Nobody knows I scope - just something I do for fun - so it wasn't like many people were following anyways. 😀

It still amazes me how quickly find you though. Before anyone I knew had heard of Periscope and before my name was on any of these lists I did short scopes just to figure out things (like reversing the camera etc) and during a 30 second scope (that only showed the keyboard at my desk) I picked up two viewers.

I thought this would be about the new menus.

Lol, I thought maybe they were on a cruise at Thanksgiving.

I 2nd the Comment about Scoping being Fun!!! Got to meet Celisse on our Allure Cruise, through Cruise Critic, But ALSO periscope!!! We live Streamed some awesome periscopes, and awesome's periscopes together, on Allure of the seas!!!

The scopes were all good, but the Q&A you two did together at the end was awesome.

It's obvious how to start a scope, but I've seen people struggle with/forget how to stop a scope. It may be phone specific (and I have an older iPhone), but you need to swipe down at the top of the page to see the button to end your broadcast. First timers may find it worrisom to not see anything obvious on their screen.

Don't know if you saw it but had someone a couple of months ago do a scope on deck and put the phone in her purse without quitting. We all listened in and chatted for a while from inside her purse.

I've found a couple that way, and that's how I found this guy. He had a sunset scope at the same location and time as a sunset scope done by Lenny.

The only thing I don't like about Cruise critic. You cannot send private messages to other members. I would like to be able to share my Facebook name, or my email sometimes, to communicate with members, and not have it out in the open public forum, to divulge my personal info to the Whole internet.

I agree. I looked for that early on. Every other site I've been on using vBulletin has it enabled so I was surprised when I couldn't find it here. Well, if you ever wanted to contact me I'm on gmail.

If you like replays, I just about 5 minutes ago stumbled on a periscoper that just got off Allure. Surprised I even noticed it since they only labeled a couple of their scopes. Might not have been great live (for me anyway) since they don't seem to speak English. Based on the scope from 9 days ago (one of the few they labeled) I'm guessing they maybe came up from Panama. Anyway, the user was @leonardohparada

I sailed on the Allure this year and someone on the ship said they had connecting rooms, via the balcony. Can all rooms do this or only specified connecting rooms?

I understand that there are some cabins that are divided by a firewall and the balconies between those rooms can't be opened.

Also, if you have a connecting room within the room, can you lock from just one side if say you don't want the people coming in at certain hours? I'm planning a large family cruise and 2 of my siblings want connecting rooms, but one doesn't want the other coming in whenever they want.

For info, it was pointed out by Alan Dahl in his periscope that the doors are single in the connecting rooms, not double (one door on each side) like in most hotel rooms. And once they are unlocked they stay unlocked, only the room attendant can lock and unlock them.

I just found out about this one tonight, so when I see one that Geeocacher is missing, I will inform you guys.

Ahhh, that explains it. I was just on the other site about 6 hours before this post stealing....uhhh, borrowing the ones I didn't have and didn't see that one.

Hey, while I have you here, did I hear Lenny saying he has another one in December? I have his November one but thought in his balcony scope he said he had cruises in November and December.

Good morning Geeocacher! I'm sorry, I just saw this. My periscope name is @Thereal_ssteele. I know it's long, it was created for twitter in 2009. Hopefully I'll periscope before my trip just to test it out. I heard Alan mention today he has an ear piece. Anyone know what kind to use?

Yeah, I just plan to use the mic on my regular earbuds. In many situations the mic on the phone is file, but in louder locations the mic on the earbuds will probably get your voice better.

I missed what type of cabin you stayed. I am booked for CP balcony, hoping to switch to boardwalk before next June but just have to wait & see!

Despite the title of his last scope, he was in a CP balcony too. lol

It's actually kind of funny.... Only because it's not my girls!!!! So here I am in the middle of the wing bridge looking at the lights off in the distance and making. All the kids around me.... Very uncomfortable. My work here is done.!!
