I love to see a "glass is half full" post on here. While I'll agree that there are problems here and there, generally the complainers are far more vocal than the happy cruisers. Thanks for sharing this. :)

Expanding the checks would add costs in personnel, so I doubt they would.

Has anyone done an excursion to Toro Verde since The Monster opened? I'm curious if I do an excursion there if I will be able to add The Monster for a fee while are there? I'm not sure how the timing is an if it could be fit in during the excursion.

Thanks for everyone's input on the "welcome reception" put on by this travel company. I'll look for the invitation in my stateroom. I was basically wondering approximately what time the reception might be, hoping that it doesn't conflict with our traditional dining time or the evening shows.

I've seen several people ask before and never seemed to be able to get an answer. Must be someone who went to one with them before.

Wouldn't you think that most folks who book with a big box store may want to get all the perks possible and show up?

I booked thru them and I won't be attending. I can do better than the kool-aid and cheese&crackers they will provide in Park Cafe. But then again I'm a party pooper (every party needs one, that's why they invited me).

But who knows, maybe the description on the invite in my cabin will change my mind. Doubt it though.

I had the same problem and had to call to have them do it. Even they were not able to link all of ours to do it and had to do one separate from all of the rest. Seems to be a common problem.

I think I would much rather do the Cruise Critic M&M than something with a bunch of random Big Box customers (most of whom probably won't show up anyway).

In one of his Periscopes Michael Poole showed a sign indicating that the max had gone up to $13.

Will be on Allure in Sept and considering the Guac and Margarita class if it's offered. Hoping they include your choice of margarita to make so I can get a few good recipes. I'll let you know if I find out.

Do we really need to take a class on how to make Guac & Margaritas?

We did this on FOS in April and loved it! Yes we know how to make guac and margaritas! The recipes are great to take home though! Our kids also really liked making the guac. They also gave us an avocado tool to take home. We thought it was well worth it!

For the margaritas did they include making the Sweet and Spicy?

I don't know about the TV's on Allure, but I have never failed to fond a button on a TV in a hotel room that would let me change the input (also frequently have to change the zoom).

I'm planning on doing Toro Verde and ride The Beast on my cruise in September. Can anyone who has recently done that excursion tell me if adding The Monster for an added fee would be an option while you are there?

Search prior threads on this. If I recall connecting and playing your own content is no problem, but I believe there were reported difficulties re-connecting to the existing services.
